So...I reran my 2008 season draft a few times and I'm going back and forth in my head which I should use. Draft 1: SS 5 85 8 9 10 8, traj 2 Draft 2: SS 8 98 8 9 9 8, traj 1 My thoughts in favor of option one: it is hard to turn my back on a SS with level C defense and a level nine arm, and even though that first shortstop has lower offenses abilities. I do you have "batting" training equipment that should improve those relatively quickly, But he would not improve to the level of the other graphic for at least one year, especially considering these players will probably sit on the bench or in the minors. I also like that the first shortstop has a level two trajectory – I find it really annoying to have to train my players on trajectories My thoughts in favor of option two: this shortstop is significantly better offensively, and just a little bit worse with his level D defense, Meaning all things being equal, the option two shortstop should be able to become as good defensively as the option one shortstop much quicker than the option one shortstop could improve his offense to the levels of my option two shortstop. Also, it might make sense to discount the other shortstop's higher defense rating because I like my shortstops to have at least a level 10 arm and defense, so I would still need both shortstops to train on that, and since defense training trains arm, defense, and error resistance, they might wind up having C arm and defense in the same amount of time. Also, even though my second draft yielded a shortstop with level one trajectory, he is so far advanced offensively, that having him do trajectory training in the off-season, with no equipment, should bring him up to level two and he would still have better offenses this text then the other shortstop training with my level III batting equipment. You know, laying out my thoughts like this has really helped, just by itself. I think I convinced myself to go for my second draft. Still, I'd like to hear your thoughts. PS: My second round pick in my second draft is better than my second round pick in my first draft. They are both pitchers, but the one in my second draft has better control, throws one mile-per-hour faster and if you add up his breaking pitches, he scores a 10 while the other pitcher scores a respectable six |

Trajectory 1 really bothers me but if you aren't playing either immediately, I would go with draft #2. |

Thanks. Going from traj 1 to 2 shouldn't be so bad, since he should start off halfway through level one. If I expected him to be a homerun hitter and wanted him to have level 3 traj, that could take awhile |
