I'd recommend using size as well as bold and occasionally throw in some italic. To make your log stand out.

Also changing the Rattlers colour to a more distinct and visible orange wouldn't kill anybody.

Rattlers 12-16 Angels 18-10

The Rattlers squared off with the first place Angels. Nick Redd started the scoring for the Rattlers with a homer in the 2nd. Cornejo also hit a 2 run homer in the same inning. Vladimir Guerrero doubled in the third to make it 3-2 Rattlers. Nick Redd homered again on a 3-0 pitch to make it 6-2. Matthews JR. singled in the 5th to add a run. Guerrero doubled again to make it 6-4. The Angels scored a run on a ground out. The game was 6-5 in the 6th. Hankins came in in the 6th and threw 2 innings with no runs. Cornejo smashed an RBI double in the 8th. Caceres threw a perfect inning in the eighth. Sessions put runners at 2nd and 3rd for Matthews JR. On the first pitch, Matthews got a base hit scoring two to tie. With runners at the corners, Sessions intentionally walked Anderson for Hunter. Hunter grounded out to third. The Angels put runners at the corners in the 10th. Maicer Izturis won it with a single in the 10th.

In a battle of losing teams, Phil Swann took on Javier Vazquez. Nick Redd smashed a homer in the first to make it 3-0. Redd homered again in the 3rd driving in two. Cabrera drove in one to make it 5-1. Richar singled in the 4th driving in one. Redd hit his third homer of the game in the fifth to make it 7-2. Thome drove in a run in the 7th. Sessions came in in the 9th and gave up a run but got the save.

In the first interleague game of the season the Rattlers took on the Marlins. Eric Reid took on Anibal Sanchez. Redd singled with the bases loaded in the 1st. Cornejo drove in another run with a single. Redd homer in the 3rd making it 3-0. Melo drove in a run on an infield single the next inning. Redd homered again in the fifth bring in only himself. They scored again on a throwing error in the same inning. The Marlins put on a run in the 6th. Jacob Frese made an amazing leaping catch to end the game. Rattlers win 6-1! Denham and Stylin fought during the game when Denham ran through the stop sign and got thrown out at second. Denham was sent down for Butron. Reid pitched 7 2/3 innings. Soler pitched 1 1/3 inning.
