Don Whittney has been named the new GM of the Minnesota Twins. Only problem, he's out of college! Unfortunately, he knows very little about baseball. He met his GM assistant, Emma Grant. Emma knows a lot about baseball. She even plays it herself in the Women's League. She was educated at Virginia Tech, while Don was educated at Florida State. Will Don build a winner with the help of Emma? Or will he fail? Find out.

Um, you should probably bump up the difficulty if you want this to be a more realistic log.

What difficulty are you playing on now?

I'm playing on normal. The games should be more realistic when I face better teams. The Reapers absolutely suck!

So...you added 2 expansion teams, but your playing the twins? Why bother with the expansion teams?

L- Hernandez (0-1)

The Twins dropped their first game of the 2008 campaign. It was a game of missed chances for Minnesota. Hernandez pitched 10 innings like his counterpart Fausto Carmona. Manager Ron Gardenhire yelled at his team after the loss. The Twins had the bases loaded with nobody out in the 10th. Young lined out to second and a blunder by Cuddyer doubled him off and put runners at the corners for Kubel. Kubel then grounded out to short to end the game.

I added expansion teams because I wanted the season to start in April, not in March with the games between Oakland and Boston. I didn't want to lose a lot of owner points before the season.

Twins 6 Indians 4 Final
W- Slowey (1-0)
L- Lee (0-1)

The Twins won another game. The Indians put a quick run on the board in the first. But Morneau hit a 2 run shot to take a 2-1 lead in the bottom half of the 1st. Then, later a Jamey Carroll error put the bases loaded for Cuddyer. Cuddyer drew a bases loaded walk. Then, Justin Morneau smashed a 3 run double to make it 6-1. Hafner hit a two run double to make it 6-3 and Sizemore homered to make it 6-4. Nathan came in in the ninth to save it. Go Twins!

Ok the box scores are always messed up. I'm gonna stop with them and just do the scores.
