Led by Kaz Matsui Houston finished with a 9-3 victory. "We just had the right hits in the right spots." said outfielder Hunter Pence who homered in the 9th inning. "Tough" American's GM Brad Mcintosh replied. "But Av, great player!" Indeed great finishing 2-4 with a Homer and all 3 RBI's. He almost had another in the 7th until robbed by Carlos Lee. Starter Boyd was called upon for opening day throwing 3 2/3 innings. He gave up 5 runs (all earned) and struck out 3. Catch the Americans again tommorow.
