April 12, 2013 Announcement made today by Bud Selig the Commissioner two new teams are brought in one from Nagasaki called the Rainmakers. A very talented club with lots of talent. Then there are the Iowa City Samurais who aren't really something to hoot and holler about. Back to the Rainmakers Owner Kevin Stevenson who bought the Nagasaki Rainmakers and created them has brought in scout Phil Garner to look for new talent the veteran Garner had a great career with the A's. Now the Manager has to be found In the person of 17 year old Joey Acaccia who had played baseball when he was younger but has studied Sabremetrics looked for a job as coach in his hometown of San Jose California. Stevenson hired hitting Eddie Murray an owner of 504 hrs and a 21 year career with the Dodgers, Orioles, Indians, and Mets. The bench coach is Ozzie Guillen who is a Former SS with experience with Florida and Chicago. Then as the pitching coach he hired Hall of Famer Greg Maddux 355 career wins with the Cubs, Braves, and Dodgers. The 1st base coach is Rickey Henderson owner of 1406 stolen bases played for Yankees, Red Sox, Athletics 4 different stints, Dodgers, Padres, Mets, Blue Jays, and Mariners. The 3rd base coach is Omar Vizquel played for Seattle, Cleveland, San Fransisco, Blue Jays, White Sox. All this experience surrounding the seventeen year old young man nearly made him faint that's just the beginning of a long 162 game season |
