Attention: This story has been slightly modified. Head over to page 6 to find out all about the new plotline. Just before the Destruction of Planet Earth in 2638, scientists found ways to create an exact carbon copy of earth. The result, Earth2. Major League Baseball and almost all other sports has now never been played for over 400 years due to steroid usage shooting sky-high and technology not being able to conduct functional steroid tests. Some baseball parks have been abandoned, even here on Earth2. Until now. The year is 2700. Finally, scientists have caught up with functional steroid testing. With that, people have wanted to bring back Major League Baseball. People wanted the old stadiums refurbished, and some new ones built. And so, Major League Baseball will be back this year. However, a new threat arises. In secret, a man named Ditromidus Vektor has been perfecting robots that can fully execute baseball batting, fielding, and pitching almost perfectly. He and his 4 brothers are ready to dominate the Major Leagues. Unfortunately, that's not the only thing he wants. Back in 2638 Ditromidus and his 4 brothers escaped Earth and launched a colossal atom bomb hidden in the Earth's core. After being activated, people on Earth only had 3 hours to flee. Three-fourths of the population on Earth died that day. Now, Ditromidus wants to get everyone back for what they have done to foil his plan to destroy Earth. Ditromidus stormed into the MLB HQ with a fully-charged plasma gun few days ago demanding his team be put in for MLB. The new CEO of MLB, Harrison Braker, said he "would do anything not to be shot". Ditromidus then demanded if he and his team were win the World Series at any given time, he had full permission to destroy Earth2. And the rest of the Solar System. Harrison quickly filled in a space for his MLB team, and Ditromidus raced out. I'm here to tell you the story. Play by play. Pitch by pitch. My name is Xceller8. I'm working on arranging a great team to catch the very last spot in the Major Leagues, just to stop Ditromidus and his brothers. I have almost perfected my skills like Ditromidus's bots, but I actually put in the blood, sweat, and tears. My team the New England Legends is ready to play some baseball. |

@Anthony They can run perfect too. Thanks for spotting that lol. Their stats are maxed out so i'm wondering if they will lose any games. |

Even with maxed stats they will lose at least a few. Unless you use them, they can lose a sim. |

Friday, January 19th, 2700. There is only one week left before the 30 teams are announced. Apparently, back in the early days of baseball, there were 2 leagues and 3 divisions per league. The MLB CEO announced we will be using that configuration. I heard my brother, HazardGuy and my dad, Gunner, are trying to help but my brother wants to dominate me before Ditromidus. I have now configured my team of 25 very skilled players, including myself. The roster is as follows: Hyso Beam [P - Closer] Casey Sears [P - Starter] Matthew Towers [P - Starter] Albert Nixon [P - Starter] Joshua Towers [P - Starter] Xavier Cannon [P - Mop-Up Man] Mark Scales [P - Starter] Victor Seven [P - Middle Reliever] Ethan Golf [P - Starter] Oswald Pump [P - Long Reliever] Thomas Press [P - Set-Up Man] Daniel Falcon [P - Starter] James Rush [P - Starter] Raziel Delta [LF, CF] Internet Proxy [C] Christopher Alpha [CF, LF, RF] Xceller8 [SS, all others] Fluxon Edge [RF, CF] Radonis Shutdown [1B, 2B] Commander Nitro [3B, 2B] Quentin Light [2B, 1B] Kurt Minix [1B, 2B, 3B, SS] Zero Rex [RF, CF, LF] Barry Jet [3B, RF, CF] Shawn Ore [LF, C, CF] These are some of the most skillful players I could find. Spring training won't be held like it was back in the early days of baseball. Neither will drafts. It seems like whatever you got is whatever you're gonna stick with. Unless, of course, you trade. |

Tuesday, January 30th, 2700. I woke up at 4:00 am this morning, and I couldn't fall back asleep. I woke from a dream-to-nightmare depicting what would happen if Ditromidus and the Army of X won the World Series between us. Bottom of the 12th, 16 to 13. Bases loaded. Two outs, and i'm up at bat. After the PitchBot threw 2 strikes and 3 balls I hit the ball high to center field, just enough for a home run... ...and Bot 4, the center fielder, front-flips off the back wall to catch the ball just in time to end the game. And the next day, the end of humans as we know it. I woke up afterwards thinking it was all real...but luckily it wasn't. Then at around 7:30 am, I started thinking about last week's "display error" team. I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was tearing me apart from inside. I had to go online again. No change. I decided to call MLB HQ just to see if I could make an appointment with the CEO, Harrison Braker. "Hello?" "Hello this is the MLB HQ, how may we help you?" "Could I speak with Mr. Braker?" "And you are?" "Xceller8, General Manager and Owner of the Legends." "Do you have an appointment scheduled with him?" "No. I must ask him an urgent question." "Okay sir, i'll put you down for an appointment at 1:00pm today?" "That's fine." "Okay, thank you." 5 hours later... (walks in room) "Hello?" "Ahh, Xceller8! nice to see you again!" "Nice to see you again as well, sir." "So, what brings you here today?" "I have a question about the MLB teams..." "Okay. What is it?" "One team name isn't showing up on my computer...I don't know if it's some sort of glitch but you should probably check it out." "Well, I do have my laptop here, so let me check for myself..." "You'll know if it's there, it says-" "Display error?" "Yeah...it shows up on your computer too?" "Yes...but that was supposed to be the Miami Lasers...take a look at the written form." "But haven't you gotten any complaints from them?" "No...which is making me wonder..." "Huh..." "Well, I think I will call their general manager and their owner." "Good idea." "Xceller8, thanks for noticing that." "You're welcome." "I will call you back tonight to see what they say." "See you around." I got home, and I started thinking... Why in our League? Why in our Division? Who are they? Then, 20 minutes later, i got The Call. "Hello?" "Hello Xceller8. I have figured out what the fate of the Miami Lasers was." "Fate?" "They have all been found dead, but the police say it wasn't any person who did it..." "Then who...excuse me...what did it?" "It was a virus." "A disease?" "No...a computer virus." "How?" "We don't know but it seems like Ditromidus launched it." "Oh no..." "They call themselves Tokyo glitchXIII." "Great. Can you do anything about them?" "No, if Ditromidus did launch it, he might kill me and then he could destroy the solar system without anyone knowing...and also the fact that I know almost nothing of computers." "Well sir, we can only hope they are a horrible team...goodbye sir." "Goodbye, Xceller8." Now, I don't even know what to do. |

Thanks Zero! What i'm trying to do is make a longer story line while creating the other team's rosters. There is going to be some very mysterious events happening soon... |
