Alright guys, here we go with a Nationals season log. :D These are 2008 rosters, with no changes, besides 2 players we have. More to come... Also, you may be the agent for 2 players, but you can only pick one for now.

"What is the best publicity stunt you can think of?" asked the Nationals owner.

"Um, the Yankees?" replied one of the lowly assistants. That answer did not make the owner happy.

"One day, we will be laughing at the Yankees. We will turn this team around, and make them champions!" the owner snapped back. "All we need is some players to build around. We've got some good corner infielders, but that's about it."

"We will have to make some trades then, this year." the assistant said.

"Yeah." replied the owner. "But who can we center the team around? We need some pitching..."

Just then, their questions were answered when the door was kicked in, and Chuck Norris entered the room. The two men just stared at him.

Chuck broke the silence. "I'm your new manager. I'm also your new ace. Now, we need to find a good fielder to build this team around."

"Who do you think you are! I'm the owner of this team! You can't tell me what to do!" the owner screamed, his face turning red.

One look from Norris shut him up. "Like I said, I'm the new manager/starting pitcher of this team. I've signed a 10 year contract. I will leave this team once those 10 years are up, or once we win a World Series. Whichever comes first. And it will be the World Series. Now, I've seen this guy on YouTube, he plays video games. So, he will bring in fans. But, that's not the only reason we need him. He also was a very good player in high school, but never pursued a career in baseball. I've got him signed to a contract. His name: Chris Smoove."

"You signed a contract with him before you had the job?" asked the assistant.

Norris replied, "Oh, like you were gonna tell me no." He then threw down to folders, and left the room. The owner opened them, and inside were two scouting reports. One for each of the new players.

And with that, the Nationals had acquired their 2 main players, and were ready to build around them. Could Chuck and Chris really turn the team around? Find out, as this shocking and exciting story unfolds...

Both my client and myself are excited that he has joined the Nationals organization and my client claims he will, ahem, "make it splash" this season.
