Hey guys, I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I want to know how blockbuster trades work. My theory is that the trade has to have one player with the star ability to make it a blockbuster trade. I would appreciate any help. Thanks! |

A blockbuster trade usually consists of two players with past or current showings of talent being traded for one another |

So if I made two all Bs players without the star ability and traded them it would be a blockbuster? |

Is that a goal of yours? To have the lady announce your trade as a "blockbuster"? Whether that should be a goal or not, I think that as the trade deadline gets closer, more trades are able to qualify as "blockbuster." Also, maybe I've never done a blockbuster trade - I don't recall ever trading for a proven all star - but I don't think your trades ever get announced like that. I think the announcement is to draw your attention to trades between teams oth than yours. |

I'm pretty sure you can't pull off a "blockbuster trade" on your own, or at least it won't be announced. Blockbusters are only announced so that you're aware of big moves around the league. There's no need to announce a trade you made. You would know about it already. |

I've had trades that, when they were accepted, they mentioned that "We acquired X in a blockbuster trade" |
