Wow, Kemp in the fourth round.

Got lucky there! The team looks pretty stellar!

Is this an Arrange team that you copied over the normal Marlins? Or are you just using the regular Marlins team?

Either way, I am following. Looks pretty good, though I do question Rob Johnson in the 5th round.

Arrange. They all are, just this one's the Miami Marlins (Rainbow Beach btw).

I needed a catcher and Johnson was one of 3 good options (the others were Jose Morales with 1 TRJ and Chris Iannetta [who would've been a much better pick].)

As far as agents go, 2 per person, plus you get any Success guys you requested (Come draft time/the off-season...)

Ehh, I'll follow. I just hope this lasts longer than last time. I'll take Pence and Buchholz

And Anthony, you act like Scott Boras...

ERISA Dude said the same thing on his Country log. What are the odds?

But seriously, I just want to have the best players. That way I can brag.

But Anthony, how many people can you think of that like it when others brag?

I'll take Skip and Lowe.

Lowe is the closer, correct?

...Okay, what I meant was that I'd be able to comment on this log often that they had a good game.

It's by committee- Lowe and Meek- until I find out which is better.

BTW Lowe has Gyroball ( :D ) and all pitchers have Recovery 4. Diaz is 1GGGGGG as well.

Edit: I really want to bench Kemp and make Verlander a mop-up man for the sake of karma.

The Miami Marlins announced the firing of manager Ozzie Guillen and hired Mikey Roberts as manager. Roberts is only 19 years old and is officially the youngest MLB manager ever. The Marlins also fired GM General Manager and hired Peter Smith as GM. The only staff members still intact are:

Minor league scout Rudy Fox
Secretary Becky Fox
Owner Jeffrey Loria

Also, the Marlins released their lineups for the following season:

Schumaker 2b
Kendrick lf (He has an E there)
Pence rf
Kemp cf
D.Johnson 1b
Hannahan 3b (I think. May be switched with Barton?)
Barton ss
R.Johnson c
Pitcher, or A.Chavez as DH

Verlander will start Opening Day, followed by Jimenez, Kendrick, Buchholz, and Niemann. Roberts has chosen to use a closer-by-committee as Meek and Lowe will both get shots at the closer's role. Choate, he says, was drafted as a situational lefty but may get some work as a set-up man.

----------

Also noted:

•Catcher Robinzon Diaz sat out practice while nursing a minor hamstring injury. He is expected to return to practice tomorrow.
•The Marlins are said to be open to trading cash or a player such as starting LF Howie Kendrick for a shortstop, or a true left fielder.
•The Marlins are hiring! Send your résumé, including name, experience, and personality, via PM on the MLBPPWorld forum to AgentP (aka Peter Smith). Also include age, appearance, and desired position. Scouting and Consultant positions are available!

Is this Power Pros or The Show?

Power Pros is my guess. If it was the Show then this would be in Free-for-all.

Paul is correct, this is Power Pros. The Show a) doesn't have letter attributes or a V-SLD and b) would be in Free For All.
