Toronto Blue Jays (1-0) @ New York Yankees (0-1)

March 31-The Blue Jays started off their season with a dominant win over the New York Yankees. Maybe this is a sign of things to come! The Jays got off to a fast start, loading the bases in the 2nd inning. Lyle Overbay knocked in 2 of those runs with a double, to make it 2-0. The next batter, Gregg Zaun, knocked in 2 more with a single, to make it 4-0, Blue Jays, after only 2 innings. Shannon Stewart knocked a single, which scored another run for the Jays, to make it 5-0 in the 3rd. Halladay gave up the first long ball of the Jays season, off of Hideki Matsui's bat, to make it 5-1. Matt Stairs answered with a homer of his own, the first chance he got in the 5th, making it 6-1. That was their last run, but the Yankees weren't done. In the bottom half, Bobby Abreu hit a double, scoring a run, and making it 6-2. In the 8th, Alex Rodriguez got his first hit of the year, over the center field wall for a solo homer, making it 6-3. After a Johnny Damon triple in the 9th, Halladay was pulled out and B.J. Ryan came in. He recorded the save, and locked in a Blue Jays' win.

Yes, but they won't get to play, and I don't want to look them up.

Done.

He did really good in that first game. I'm kind of worried about the rest of the rotation though, besides Burnett.

That was fun and all, but I won't be able to play another game until Sunday, and it will stay that way until Easter. :(

But I do plan on playing a game or two every Sunday until then. :)
