This is my Reapers style log that will be updated every so often. Don't expect regular updates, I'll just do it when I get around to it.

End of April

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH: Jayo (CF) .343, 3 HR, 15 RBI

Financial report
Income: 8219
Expenses: 3030
Income and Expenses = 5189 total gain

The Devils got off to a completely unexpected start in April. They went 15-13 and are one game back of the 16-12 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the division. Some guys helping the cause are rookie center fielder Jayo, who has completely exploded in the leadoff spot, going .343, with 3 HR, 15 RBI, and 6 SBs. Rick Hinshaw, the left fielder, has also been doing great, batting .369 with 7 HR and 19 RBI. Aaron White has been doing amazingly, batting .430 with one home run and 19 RBIs. Niels Bohr has also been doing well in the number 1 spot of the rotation, pitching 4.42 ERA with a 2-1 record. Closer Bannister has a 2.42 ERA and is 6-6 in save opps. Ray Winslow and Jayo both have no errors on the season.

The Yankees are the best team in the MLB as of right now, with a 21-7 record.
The Pirates are the worst team in the MLB, going 7-21 in their first 28 games.
The Devils lay tied for ninth, 6 games back of the Yankees for best record, with a 15-13 record.
The Samurais are tied for 26th, going 12-16 in their inaugural month.

The Devils have no league leaders as of now, but some stunning numbers include Alex Rodriguez's .462 average, and Kelvim Escobar/Jon Lester's 5 wins.

The Devils had no players of the week in the month of April.

Good.

I've got another guy, if you want him, he's an outfielder. By year 3, he will be the best leadoff hitter in the league, no question.

I've already got a solid leadoff guy (check April summary) but if he starts to choke, sure.
