Does anybody have any ideas for things that could be done with agents? It seems a popular idea but I can't think of any point to it at the moment. I'll edit in any ideas people have into this post. And use them in any logs I may do in the future. |

You could actually negotiate contracts for players, I guess. |

What if you negotiate a contract on the forum and then the player rejects it in the game? |

Just say that the player said no when the agent suggested that salary? I don't really know. |

Yeah, that could be a problem. I don't have any ideas though, sorry. |

Bumping old topics isn't generally a good thing, but it's better than making a new topic for the exact same purpose, but seriously, any ideas? |

The kind of role playing in my log doesn't exactly work in every log. I think negotiating contracts can be complicated, but I think it could be pulled off. If the player rejects a higher salary then you could just say the GM rejected it. I don't know. Maybe you could do other things that's not in the game, like, if a player is slumping, say an agent says the player has decided they will change bats. I can't think of much, though. |

Only actual idea I have that would 100% work is that agents get to choose what their client practices, and that alone isn't worth the whole picking agents thing. |

Yeah it can get a little boring with just "X is happy he hit a double today." Maybe fantasy points? Add a little competition? Other then that, if you don't have agent decisions and player updates it doesn't really have a point. EDIT: People do seem to like it. They comment more on your season logs and that always boosts my self esteem. ![]() |

I really like fantasy points, because as Paul said, it adds competition. |

It would be hard and tedious to do, though. |

I didn't mean fantasy points, I meant agents and people saying good job today X PLAYER. It let's you know people are following and boosts self esteem about log posts. |

Yeah I know what you meant. You just posted it while I was posting. I was responding to skittles and was just too lazy to make that clear. ![]() |
