Paul Sheets' house

Michael Johnson's house

Ring Ring Ring

Paul: Michael Johnson we would like you to come to be our assistant general manager. Will you do it?
Michael: of course I will, this is my dream job!
Paul: just to tell you, we are thinking of trading away Daniel Cabrera for a catcher who can throw out runners and hit for decent power.
Michael: that is a great idea, also a free agent I would recommend is Dan Johnson, he hasn't been given much of a chance, but boy can he crush the ball.
Paul: Okay Michael, I'll sign him tomorrow.

Andrew Junge and Great Johnson. Yeah. Great Johnson. :D Is he really Kevin Millar? I'm just guessing, based on a 2007 Orioles roster. The '08 game has '07 rosters, right??

Great Johnson is the one and only Kevin Millar! He must of not been in the MLBPA during this time.

Kevin Millar actually never was a member of the MLBPA. He was actually a replacement player during the 1994 strikes, and those players were never admitted into the MLBPA.

Paul Sheets and Michael Johnson are very pleased with the Orioles success. They were thinking of trading Melvin Mora at the beginning of the year, but boy are they glad they didn't do that now, they started off slow, at the all star break they were in last place, 8 games behind the Yankees in a very deep AL East which the first place Orioles and Yankees are only separated by 4 games from the last place Red Sox, right now, anyone has a shot at winning the division. One thing that needs to be improved is their pitching, which was Peter Angelos' request at the beginning of the season.Franklin Morales has been very good with a 3.36 ERA, but Jeremy Guthrie has been awful with an ERA over 6, Andrew Junge has been pitching very well with a 2.53 ERA, but hasn't pitched many innings, rounding out the pitching staff, Matt Morris has a 3.72 ERA, Hideo Nomo has a 4.56 and Adam Loewen has a 5.31, this is an area which could definitely be improved.
