Like everyone said before, it is only 10 seasons.
However, in the PS3 Japanese version, you can play for 20 seasons, at least in the 2010 installment.
So... yeah.

In season mode the girl says that the GM had a 10 year contract. Is it posable to play season mode for longer then 10 seasons? |

IDK. I'm too lazy to play the whole thing. All I know is that you can only play ten years. |

You retire, and then the credits role. And then you get you're team as an Arrange team! You can play with them again, but you have to start in 2008 again. |

You can save your team as an Arrange Team at any point along the way though. It's not exclusive to the end of the ten years. |

Yeah, pretty much all you can do is put your team through a time machine so they can play some more. |

You could play 20 seasons in the MLB 2009 version. |
