In the year 2006, a new airline carrier was created in Las Vegas, Nevada, appropriately called MillionAir, due to it being founded in Sin City. 2 years later, they were the hottest airline in the business, racking up almost $2 billion dollars...$1 billion of it in baggage fees and whatnot (What would you expect!). Around that same time, MLB Commissioner Bud Selig was looking for 2 new expansion teams, due to league funds being so low. They wanted a big corporation or 2 to sponsor a couple teams to try to get revenue up.

MillionAir was one of the ones to step up first, the next being Sprint-Nextel (I couldn't think of another pun for a corporation name/city/whatever; I apologize in advance.) The owner of MillionAir, Ricky Techer, Ryan Techer's son, liked this opportunity, because it would help get more people to fly on the airline carrier. Sprint-Nextel thought the same.

Soon after, both grants for teams were accepted, the MillionAir playing in the NL West, while the Miami Sprint, as the other team was dubbed, played in the NL East. The MillionAir played in the brand-new Panpaka Park (Informally called MillionAir Coliseum), and the Sprint played at Rainbow Beach Stadium (Informally called SprintStadium (yes, there is no space for a reason)). Other divisional changes were made because, well, Selig could do that.

And that began the story of the MillionAir.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The divisions look like this:

AL East:
Phillies
Braves
Blue Jays
Orioles
Rays
Marlins

AL Central:
Indians
Reds
Twins
Cardinals
Royals
Rockies

AL West:
Angels
Mariners
A's
Padres
D-Backs
Giants

NL East:
Red Sox
Mets
Yankees
Nationals
Sprint

NL Central:
Cubs
Tigers
White Sox
Pirates

NL West:
Astros
Rangers
Brewers
Dodgers
MillionAir
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Draft will be done next time I post. Thoughts? Concerns?

DRAFT RECAP

The MillionAir, in the draft, were focused on signing players that nobdy had ever heard before, not even in the Majors yet. Ricky Techer called these players "gray-bar players," and that's the bulk of what they ultimately drafted. Their first round selection, would help them on offense, as they got slugger Finegan (first names will come later in the roster recap). In scouting reports, he had E contact, but a whopping B Power! This would surely help out with their offense. Thier next 2 rounds, they focused on pitching, primarily the starting rotation. They selected 19-year old righty Kershner and 21-year old Murray, a southpaw. Both didn't look so good control-wise, but their stamina was rated at a C. Kershner has a top speed of 87, with a Level 3 forkball, and 2 level two curveballs, the regular curve, and a knuckle-curve. Murray's top speed was 1 mph higher, at an 88, and he also has a level 3 forkball, but it's complimented by a level 2 cutter and a level 3 slider.

Here are the results from the rest of the rounds, and the player's stats:
Round 4 - C Velasquez (3, E, D, E, C, E, D, Hd 1st Slide)
Round 5 - RP Heitpas (RH) (93, D, C, Lv. 2 CUT, Lv. 2 FORK, Lv. 1 KN)

Nice. Sounds like it's fun to follow. Brewers in the NL West? I had to laugh at that one.

It must be weird for the Miami Sprint having their home field all the way across the country in Hawaii.

Oh, and one more thing I forgot to mention, you can have up to 2 clients, if you want.

Also, 1 or 2 games will be played tomorrow, I hope. If not tomorrow, they'll be played Monday. I'm also having the CPU simulate the games, since I'm too awesome on pitching and offense, and seeing how that goes.

Ricky Techer, one day, was looking for a way to help promote this team and the city of Las Vegas. To this effect, he signed a TV deal with the YouTube station TRTN 78 (AKA my YouTube account). The deal included that TRTN will broadcast 1 game per 2 series on YouTube. He has not decided yet whether they will be made public to all of YouTube or exclusive to the MLB Power Pros Forum. Of the deal, Techer said, "I think this is a historic event in the history of the MLB Power Pros season log landscape. I think this will do well." We will see in the near future.

I do videos of games in my logs, but it's just the important games.

Oh wait, I haven't played any important games in any of my logs yet.

Alright, I got video of the Opening Day game recorded, and it's fairly long - over a half hour! I'll post the link when it's done uploading to YouTube. Also, my computer died in the middle of recording, so that's why you'll have an unexpected stop in the game itself.
