Arizona Diamondbacks (1-0) @ Cincinnati Reds (0-1) Dan Haren (0-0, 0.00) vs. Bronson Arroyo (0-0, 0.00) CINCINNATI -- Dan Haren pitched a heck of a ballgame, going eight innings in a shut- out effort, striking out eight and allowing just four hits. His offense was provided by RBI singles from both Conor Jackson and Stephen Drew as well as a two-run home run from Justin Upton, Arizona's first of the year. Final Score: Diamondbacks 4, Reds 0 |

Arizona Diamondbacks (2-0) @ Cincinnati Reds (0-2) Doug Davis (0-0, 0.00) vs. Matt Belisle (0-0, 0.00) CINCINNATI -- Solid starting pitching continued as Doug Davis dealt seven innings of two-run baseball in the Diamondbacks' sweep of the Cincinnati Reds this evening. Orlando Hudson, Mark Reynolds, Justin Upton, and Chris Snyder all drove in runs and Stephen Drew drove in a pair. As for the Reds, Matt Belisle didn't look too sharp in his five innings of work and his offense couldn't help out much - RBI singles from Adam Dunn and David Ross. Final Score: Diamondbacks 6, Reds 2 The Diamondbacks are heading to Colorado for their next series! |

That's why I was considering not doing the newspaper thing and posting everything from my iPad. Because my iPad is always with me, it'd be MUCH easier. Maybe I won't do that after all. I can still post a quality log without that ![]() |

April 4, 2008 Arizona Diamondbacks (3-0) @ Colorado Rockies (0-3) Micah Owings (0-0, 0.00) vs. Kip Wells (0-1, 9.00) DENVER -- After this game the D-Backs were very confused as to how the Rockies were winless up until this point. Other than closer Brian Fuentes' 7.71 ERA, the team looked pretty good. Starting pitcher Micah Owings was chased after four innings, allowing five runs on ten hits. The bullpen was slightly better as Medders and Pena combined for two runs on five hits in four innings. The lone Arizona run was scored by Orlando Hudson on a Conor Jackson RBI single in the third inning. Colorado was assisted by homers from Todd Helton and Clint Barmes. Final Score: Rockies 7, Diamondbacks 1 |
