OPENING DAY 2008

BLUE JAYS @ YANKEES

Three Runs, Two HRs, and One Shutout lead Jays to Opening Day Win

NEW YORK--The Jays only needed one inning to win this game, but Roy Halladay (1-0) took control and pitched all nine. After a Kevin Youkilis HR (2nd of year) in the game, Halladay dominated Yankee batters and left their attempts to score on base. Matt Stairs launched one into Monument Park in the ninth (1st of year) to cap off the game for the Blue Jays. In other news, Halladay and Cliff Lee have become clients of up-and-coming agent dishnetkid.

F: 3-0 TOR
W: Halladay (1-0)
L: Wang (0-1)
HR: Youkilis (2), Stairs (1)

Cool log, I like the inclusion of the players walk-up music, it adds a different element.

I think its funny how every 2-3 months, Benny comes on, starts a log, then leaves the site again 1 week later.
