Backstory: Louisville falcons where part of a new expansion deal for two minor league cities to become the first cities to have a Minor league team and Major league team. The city was eager to make this attempt by renovating Cardinal Stadium into a High tech major league facility. After the MLB saw this display of dedication for a team the league Instantly granted them a spot with the city of Omaha as well. The MLB commish at the time also wanted to change up the hum drum style of the expansion draft. He dropped all the players from each major league and Triple AAA Roster to make a new League draft reflecting on the to new teams they've managed to gain. Before the draft started both Expansions teams (Louisville falcons and Omaha Honeybees) had managed to pick local coaching around the cities area. Louisville Hired GM Lonnie Kenolls a very famous local legend in Louisville baseball. Kenolls was know for being an unorthodox type of coach in his player selections. Louisville had first pick of the draft and came up with a very awkward cast of players that would become the center of the team. Chris Warner: SP Chase Capuano: SP Ryan Rownland-Smith: SP Josh Johnson: OF Willie Harris: 3b Michael Magrath: C All Players that played under Kenolls at some point in time of their life while staying in Louisville lets see how this team can progress? |
