In this introduction post I will probably unintentionally leave a bunch of important information out, so, if you have questions, ask, and I'll edit the answers in. The teams with the worst records are the ones which were replaced. Here are the new teams, who made them, and what league they're in: Charlotte Flyers - BrewersFuzz - NL East Charlotte Centurions - Longball714 - AL East Charlotte Successes (There sure are a lot of new teams from Charlotte...) - cooldude1045 - NL Central Las Vegas Jammers - BennyBaseball - AL Central New England Powerfuls - My main team, followed in this log - NL West Salt Lake City Bull Dogs - stemmy - AL West Opening Day results will probably be sometime today. |

March 31st – Opening Day (For most teams): Early 10 run outburst secures Powerfuls 12-0 win: The Powerfuls went into the first game of the year swinging, and the coaching staff was not disappointed as they managed 10 runs in the first inning, forcing out the starting pitcher who only managed one out. From that point their hitters took it easy and only scored two runs afterwards. Luke Johnson pitched a great game to pick up his first win of the year, striking out 18 in a complete game shutout, after he loaded the bases in the first inning. “After the bases were loaded, I just told myself, “You’re thinking too hard, just throw, thinking is the catcher’s job” I don’t think anyone could complain about the results, as I only gave up a single hit after that.” Other Opening Day Results: Jammers lost to Tigers 4-3 Centurions beat Orioles 12-0 Flyers beat Mets 7-6 Bull Dogs beat Mariners 10-8 Successes beat Braves 6-4 |

Game Results: Jammers defeat Bull Dogs 10-4 Powerfuls dominate Successes in 22-1 victory: The Powerfuls highlights, as well as the Successes lowlights, are too numerous to name after a game like this. Morgan pitched several mop-up innings for the successes, hitting a home run that wound up being their only run, off of Prince Fielder in the 8th inning. I think in the future, instead of having a section of top 3 ranked teams in the majors, I'll just do a list of notable teams and their rankings. Such as the top 3, then all the other entrants. |

Halladay complete game ends in 5-1 win for Powerfuls: The Successes were again defeated by the Powerfuls last night, and their offense was again nearly non-existent. The Successes starter Zero would give up 5 runs in 2.2 innings, the relief pitching did great, pitching 6.1 shutout innings. Roy Halladay would lose his shutout in the 8th inning due to poor fielding decisions, but he would finish off the complete game for his second win. Tomorrow’s expected Starting Pitcher matchup is expected to be Randy Flores vs Gilgamesh Star, who started the year in AAA, the Successes will definitely be hoping Gil will help get them out of this slump. |

I'm thinking in future months I will let everyone select one batting stat and one pitching stat, I will then say who led the team in that stat at the end of the month. Also, late news: April 18th, Powerfuls pitcher, Nekoda Neoptole, threw a perfect game against the Cardinals, with strikeouts every inning. |

Powerfuls complete sweep with 7-5 win: The Powerfuls would jump to an early lead, with a leadoff double, followed immediately by a triple to take a 1-0 lead. After Gil was taken out of the game in the third, Scott would give up a 3 run home run to B.J Upton. Randy Flores would give up 5 runs in the 4th, including a 3 run home run by Percy, his third home run, he’s now tied with Terry for leading the team, to surrender the 5-4 lead. The Powerfuls tied it in the 5th, and a Prince Fielder pinch hit single in the 8th inning would give them the lead. They added an unneeded insurance run in the 9th. Pelfrey got the Win, Terminator got the Save, and Sittch took a Loss. |
