Quote: Just put in trades next time. Since it's so popular with the crowd I will. My sister was yelling at me to get off the TV and I forgot to save because I just shut it off ![]() ![]() ![]() |

San Fransisco Giants (0-1) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (1-0) Los Angeles- The Giants lost their Opening Day game to their rivals, the Dodgers. The action started early on an RBI double by Aaron Rowand to bring in Randy Winn and give the Giants an early 1-0 lead. Omar Vizquel made history in the second, breaking the record for most career hits on a single to center field. The action died down and it looked like the final would be 1-0, but Rowand struck again on a solo homer in the eighth to make it 2-0.In the eighth the Dodgers rallied putting up three runs on a 2 run homer by Matt Kemp, and an RBI single by Juan Pierre. In the ninth, it looked like the Giants could score with runners on first and second and only one out, but Durham lined to second and the pinch hitter Ortmeier wasn't quick enough to get back to the bag and was tagged out to end the game. ![]() ![]() MVP=Pierre W= Kuroda (1-0) L= Zito (0-1) S= Saito (1) Roberts= 3-5, 3 1B Durham= 3-5,2B Rowand= 2-4, 2B, HR, 2 RBI Zito= 7 2/3 IP, 6 hits, 6 K's, 0 BB, 3 ER Pierre= 1-4, RBI Kemp= 1-3, HR, 2 RBI |

Wow. Tough loss. I hate when that happens. It's just NOT possible to press the button fast enough to get back. |

San Fransisco Giants (1-3) @ Milwaukee Brewers (4-0) Milwaukee- The Giants lost today in a very low scoring game. The crowd was probably not pleased, even though the Brewers won. The only run of the game came off of Prince Fielder's second homer of the season. Gallardo pitched a complete game. Even though the Giants had more hits, they still couldn't score. Hopefully they can fix their offensive woes. ![]() ![]() MVP=Gallardo W=Gallardo L=Lowry S= ------ Roberts=2-4 Durham=3-4 Rowand=1-4,2B Molina=1-3,2B Lowry=8 IP, 5 hits, 5 K's, 0 BB, 1 ER Fielder=2-3, 2B, HR Hart=1-3 Kendall=1-3 Weeks=1-3 |

I hate games like that. I mean, I feel good that pitching did good, but the offense couldn't come up with anything. |
