Some of you may remember the old 100,000 point challenge topic: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3354&st=0&sk=t&sd=a But that ultimately didn't go anywhere at all, despite several rosters being thought up by people. Anyway, the rules: 1. The players total salaries cannot equal more than 100,000 2. You don't need any AAA players, though personally I would suggest a few just in case. 3. I've edited this rule a few times, but my ultimate decision now is that no success mode players will have pre-register salary, use their free agent salary. 4. No more than one of a player on a team, but the same players can be on any of the rosters created. Success mode player or real player. 5. When including success mode players, link to a place I can find them and their password, preferably updated recently, if I can't get a password working I'll let you know, if you do nothing about it, I'll ultimately replace him. 6. Try to limit success mode players, you shouldn't let this keep you from using guys you feel strongly about, but I don't want to be entering passwords for days. I obviously don't mind if you use a lot of mine, as I don't need to enter passwords for them, don't let this pressure you into using only mine though. 7. Include details for your team, including name, uniform colors, symbol, location, home ballpark (this is subject to change, I don't want a division where all the players use the same park, it's boring). 8. PS2 players can join, but can't use any success players. 9. I think that's it, if I think of more, I'll update this post. If I feel like I'm lacking teams, I may use rosters from the other topic, including mine, unless the person who posted it posts a different and updated roster here. |

I finalized rule 3, it should be taken note of by anyone who went off to do rosters. I feel this is ultimately the best decision as it ensures tough teams but not as completely overpowering as they could be otherwise, and it's more of a challenge this way, also, I'm adding a poll... The poll is asking which division should be completely replaced by the teams posted by forum members, if more teams are submitted than there are teams in the division, there may be spillover into another league, probably replacing teams in the second most voted for division, those who are in different divisions could consider themselves lucky as there probably won't be as tough competition there. Or, if I get enough support for this idea, I could put each team in a separate division, maybe putting extras if there are more than 6 entries. I'm not entirely sure this would be fair though, as some divisions are tougher than others. |

What are the salaries of all those players, and what's the total? |

I'll make my team after I go bowling today. I think we should have six teams, and do League mode. That would be better than Season mode because we could have box scores and such (like the way I do my logs). |

I was just joking, jeez. I like your idea though. We should do league mode. |

For those of you who want league mode, do any of you volunteer to take over? |

Do I have to post my roster now? There are two reasons I don't want to post it now: a) I'm still not sure about a couple of the roster spots, and b) I don't want to give away my strategy until the games start. If you want, I'll PM you with my current roster. |

You can probably change the roster whenever you want, until I get at least 4-6 teams. |
