While I go through the contract renewal phase of my Twins log, I decided, to pass the time, to start another log, this time with MLBPP SuperTeam, the New York Mets. I'll do this the same as the Minnesota log. I'm probably going to be trading a lot to lower the salary.

Trade Rumors

When I said I would be trading a lot, I wasn't kidding. Here we go!

White Sox Get:

Brian Schnieder (C)

Mets Get:

Toby Hall (C)
Great Lee (RP)
Boone Logan (RP)

Success Rate: ***

Lee has a knuckleball, and Hall is not as good as Schneider, but much cheaper. I'm not spending 4430 a year on a guy who's going to sit the bench. Logan is also a solid bullpen arm. Good idea?

Done.

How do we like my trade idea, everybody? If I don't get any replies, I'm doing it.

Mets Begin Trading Spree, Deal Schneider

NEW YORK—As part of a four month plan to trade away players with high salaries, Brian Schneider has been traded to the White Sox for Great Lee, Toby Hall, and Boone Logan. Matt Wise will be sent down to make room for Lee and Hall, while Logan will remain in AAA.

Matt Wise is very upset that before throwing one pitch this season he is sent down to AAA. Plus if Boone Logan is such a "solid bullpen arm" why is he in AAA with me?

On a side note, I REALLY don't recomend doing two logs at the same time. It can be confusing and will take up to much time. I realize its summer so you probly have a ton of time on your hands but still, it will be overwelming for you eventualy.
