In the year 2008, there were 2 new teams entering MLB, one was a team from Australia, joining the NL West, called the Kangaroos. They were a powerful team with many rookies coming in from the Australian leagues. Then, there were the Indianapolis SimYards, entering into the AL Central. They were somewhat called "misfits" and many people said they didn't have a chance. These guys were out to prove the critics wrong and win a championship.

And so begins the story of the Indianapolis SimYards, with many users from the baseball simulation game, SimYard.

SimYards vs. White Sox

Big first inning gives White Sox Opening Day win

In the first pitch he saw, Nick Swisher teed off of starter Fitz24 (0-1) for an early 1-0 lead, then it went downhill from there. In the top of the 2nd, though, Nightwolf got a HR to left-center in his first at-bat to give the SimYards a run, still down 4-1, and they never recovered, even though in the 6th, ressda got a RBI single to bring in the 2nd run, but that would be it, as the White Sox won 6-2.

Dye's Heroics in 9th gives White Sox dramatic victory, 5-2

The SimYards had a lead going into the 9th inning, and bringing in their closer, BobbyBBall, only to turn into a Jermaine Dye Grand Slam with 1 out to end the contest, and give the White Sox their 2nd straight victory.

Starting pitching woes continue, SimYards lose 10-6

ziggy was roughed up again, giving up 7 runs in 5 innings, and lanceberkman gave up 3 in 1 inning. Nightwolf had a HR today.
