I was wondering if I should use an MLB team, or a created team in my season. If you say created, could you help me with some team names??

My mistake, I don't think I was clear when I redirected you last time, your avatar question belonged in this forum because it had nothing to do with any of the games, but this topic would go here because it's about the 2008 season mode.

That being said, I prefer created teams, and if you search for them, there are probably more than 100 team names nobody has used.

I wanted to start a season, and was wondering whether to use an MLB team or a created team. If I you have any name suggestions, Im open for ideas.

My best advice: do an MLB team, and make it a middle-of-the-road team that has some talent, but also some weak points. The Giants and D-Backs are two pitching-heavy teams that have offensive struggles. Another example would be my pitching-deficient Twins (although, don't ACTUALLY do the Twins, of course. That would be mean.)

This, of course, brings the "will-they-win-or-fall-short" element as well as the "our-[insert strong point here]-is-really-good-but-if-our-[insert weak point here]-doesn't-catch-up-then-we're-in-trouble" element.

I usually do scrub expansion teams with all those gray-bar players, and see how they do in a given period of time.
