Since franchise logs are kind of coming back I decided to make another one except with my favorite team

I haven't played MLB Power Pros since about January so its about time I play another baseball game and hearing all this stuff about the Japanese release and stuff it got me exciting

Also, the rosters are from the 2010 season even though it starts from 2008 in season mode. I won't have the rosters FULLY completed, like I may put a bench player or relief pitcher on a wrong team but that doesn't mean too much

I haven't updated them fully yet but I have a lot of time today to do it.

Also I plan to do just one game a series and important games

If you are doing agents then I want to be the agent for Ellsbury and Daniel Bard.

I won't do the agents this time. Theres not much need for agents if you guys can't control the salary in stuff. But if my log doesn't get much attention then I'll do agents

Well I'll follow anyway, the last log you did with the Pirates was my favorite log.

You know what for the sake of cheap followers and posts there can be agents. I'm not sure what they'd do though :| But anyways you guys will have to make sure you know your own agent because keeping track of them are hard

Also I completed the rosters so I can start soon :)

Sox Drop Opening Day To A's

March 25 -- Opening Day didn't go well for the Red Sox dropping a 5-2 decision to the Oakland Athletics. The Red Sox scored first on a Beltre homerun which was his first with the Red Sox in his first at bat. But later in the 2nd Kevin Kouzmanoff would get an RBI single to tie it. Up 2-1 in the 5th Beckett gave up the lead with an RBI double by Cliff Penington and an RBI double by Ryan Sweeney to make it 3-2 Athletics. Okajima gave up 2 runs in the 8th inning to make a 1-run deficit into a 3-run deficit going into the 9th and rookie Andrew Bailey would get the save to nail down the Opening Day win in Oakland.

Do you have Ben Sheets on the A's? If so, I'm kinda suprised he isn't the # 1 starter. Also, did you edit players at all? Cause Duchscherer has E stamina in this game.

Yes Sheets is on the roster and he started Game 2, I may have made a mistake and not swapping them

and yes I edited nearly every player to what I think is realistic so Duchscherer has A stamina I think

The Tigers are probably OK(its only 3 games into the season). I made sure to put in Scott Sizemore. I made him one of those G contact, F power rookies because you see so many of them around in this game. The Tigers roster was tough to put together because of so many new players

Bullpen Implodes As A's Take 3 of 4

April 2 -- After being shut out last game, the Red Sox offense struggled again but this time the bullpen was really what to blame as they lose 3 out of 4 from the Athletics. The Red Sox sat 3 of 4 starters and those bench players contributed early as Lowell and Hermida would get RBI singles in the 2nd and 7th inning respectively to take a 2-0 lead late. But Okajima and Ramon Ramirez gave it all up in the 8th. They wasted Wakefields great outing as Barton hit a run scoring single and then a few batters later Eric Chavez hit a 2-run double to give the A's a 3-2 lead. Kouzmanoff singled in another run and that would be enough as Cahill went 8 very strong and Devine got the save to take the series.

Homeruns Sink Red Sox As Bad Start continues

April 4 -- The Red Sox fell to 1-4 on the season with a 5-3 loss in Toronto. The Red Sox got off hot in the 1st inning with a homerun by Pedroia but fell behind in the bottom of the first when Lester(1-0) gave up a lead-off homerun to Aaron Hill and an RBI double by Vernon Wells to make it 2-1. Lester gave up another run in the 2nd inning but later settled down as he struck out a season high 9 in his 2nd start of the season. The Red Sox would later tie it in the 5th inning when former Blue Jay Marco Scutaro hit a 2-run shot to make it 3-3 off Shawn Hill. But that would not be enough as Edwin Encarnacion singled in the go-ahead run in the 7th inning and Adam Lind homerun in the 8th to give the Jays a 5-3 win. And for the Red Sox, offenseive struggles continue as the Red Sox got only 2 extra base hits in the game, both homeruns.

Nice! I'll follow. I've started a new season mode with the Rockies. I'm not doing a log or anything, but I'm in mid June right now of year one, and it feels good to get back to PP. It seems I only really get into it during summer, and then it dies during winter.
