Post subject:  Managing Fatigue

I think I've figured this out. I'm sure you guys already know this.

The Fatigue meter shows you how worn out you are. If the meter is full (going left to right) your guys are fatigued. I looked at a bunch of teams and all of them are fatigued! So I put all my guys that were fatigued into practice, fitness, with my hot dog, and already their fatigue level is dropping.

However, during games, for pitching, it seems like the fatigue meter is just the opposite. Is it possible that it switches to a "Vitality" meter? That makes more sense because as you pitch them, they get drained.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this, but I think it's helping.

I don't really think there's one answer you can use to explain the fatigue meter, but here's a few observations:

Some players play better when their fatigue meter is almost entirely full, while others play better when their fatigue meter is close to empty.

The more fatigued your player, the higher the chance of injury. (I can't prove this, but it's just something I've noticed)

Some part of the players condition is totally random. I have a feeling the computer has some sort of setting that causes players to slump for awhile too. I've had players that become purple faced and have found it nearly impossible to get them out of it (by either resting the player and putting them in practice).

If a player isn't used very frequently, they seem more likely to become purple faced after awhile.

I know I've allways wondered about this subject also. And I was thinking that there might be a way to find out. From the most obvious soucre that would be Konami & 2kSports, to get info on this matter.

I even re-read the manual trying to find info.

I'm pretty sure that the colored icons are generated randomly. Unless someone has seen thier player's change by getting hits or something. I'll have guys go 4-4 and they still are the same.

thanks for the feedback.
