This Log is gonna be contiuned. I swear. I'm gonna use the Yankees and I'll last all 10 years without dying. Lineup and all that stuff remains the same.

Best trade ever?

A-Rod + Jeter = Wright + Reyes + Burgos + 36711

I'll follow but maybe not post a bunch but for the skill-wise of the players its not the best trade ever but it sure saves a crapload of salary for the yankees while Wright and Reyes are pretty cheap, so its a great trade

Abreu + Posada for Ethier and Martin and Billingsley and 19287.

I'm thinking about getting a good closer that doesnt cost too much + a good young starter. Angels? Trading Mussina/Pettitte + Rivera for K-Rod and a starter? What do you think?

hmm I think you should keep Rivera unless you can get an insane enough steal because he is the face of the franchise now that A-Rod and Jeter and gone

Wang beats Doc in an epic duel which Doc lasted 5.2 innings. Wang shuts them out for 7 innings and K's 8, walking 3.

Trade:
Pettitte + 11000 = King Felix.

that is a bank robbery right there! And good job for Wang but it always seems liek he strikes out many batters in season mode

Few trades here tell me which is better:

Matsui + Cabrera + 30k (Take note I have 180k in my bank) = Crawford + Upton

Damon = Braun

Giambi + Mussina = Howard + Hamels + 15K

Rivera + 26K = K-Rod

Giambi can put up serious numbers if he's edited a little but this deal is only good if Hamels is edited

Ok Im gonna keep Rivera for the season, but i'll sign K-Rod over FA. No player is edited. Howard kinda sucks. I need to trade away Mussina and Giambi though.

Good plan to use when playing as Yankees:

Trade all your old players away. DUH! The Yankees overpay for this over-the-hill talent that seems to have worked so far :wink: I love the young base you are trying to set up. Maybe you can trade Howard and a couple other players away for Fransisco Liriano, Joe Nathan, and Justin Morneau. The Twins always seem to do dumb trades (in this game).

Crawford is a player and a tremendous athlete, Ryan Braun is WAY better than lowly Damon, I would trade Howard and Rivera for that twins trade mentioned earlier, Seattle seems to give away King Felix in this game, The Giants give away Lincecum too if you are lucky.

This is a good lineup:
C-Martin
1B-Morneau
2B-Cano
SS-Reyes
3B-Wright
LF-Crawford
CF-Ethier
RF-Braun
DH-BJ Upton

Rotation:
1. Felix
2. Hamels
3. Billingsley
4. Lincecum
5. Liriano

CL Nathan

In the FA period get CC. Yep, that's a good team

1 Yankee remains. I still have Wang, he is really good in the game.

I was thinking:

1) Reyes SS
2) Crawford LF
3) Braun DH
4) Howard/Tex (I'm hoping to get him) 1B
5) Wright 3B
6) Mauer C
7) Upton CF
8) Cano 2B
9) Ethier RF (Or Upton)

Without DH it is the same.

Rotation

1) Felix
2) Wang???
3) Hamels
4) Hughes
5) No Idea?? (FA pitcher)

Bullpen is like Yankees + Chad + Burgos + some other random people

CL is gonna be Rivera, but I'll trade him during offseason and sign K-Rod.

Cano hits for the cycle.

We need a good bullpen.

Really tempted to get Cain and Lincecum.

Howard hit 12 homers in April.
