I'm trying to redeem myself after the failed RiverDogs one. I'm going to try a new one here. I did this with a dream draft, so this should be good. The other expansion team is the GoldApples. I'll get rosters up soon, and I think you'll be surprised. Of course the home stadium for the GreenApple is Green Apples stadium, while the GodApples one is Golden Apples Stadium. Zoom in for a draft steal I made. SPOILER ALERT!!! I GOT JOHAN AND KING FELIX!!!!!!

Alrighty, here's the roster!!!!!!

Johan's so underrated in this game...
was he your first pick?
i usually go with a hitter first, but i focus on pitchers for the first 7 rounds, getting 5 by the time it reaches the 8th round.

Um, I think it was a gray bar player that I selected first.

I don't have my Wii on right now, so I can't check it until, I don't know, this afternoon.

Roster is up. Please give me your thoughts on what I should do. First game will probably be tomorrow, as we open up for a 2-game home series with the A's.

PITCHING MATCHUP:
OBG-Johan Santana (0-0)
vs.
OAK-Aaron Harang (0-0)

TRADE TALKS WITH DODGERS STARTING

The GreenApple are looking to make a trade for OF/IF/C Brandon Inge. This has been going on since the start of the season, since Inge was one of the players on the GreenApple's draft board, along with Johan and King Felix. No word yet on who they're wanting to give up, though. This is happening because Andy LaRoche's arm is below average to their scouts, as seen in an exhibition game against the As, which has no relevance toward the season, when they lost in 15 innings, 4-3.

APPLES WIN FIRST GAME, 2-1

The Apples started on the right foot today, getting all their runs in the 3rd. Things got shaky in the 9th, when Stamotopolis threw a wild pitch to score a run, but settled down to record the save.

W-Santana (1-0)
L-Harang (0-1)
S-Stamotopolis (1)

APPLES WIN AGAIN, 3-2; NO DEAL REACHED WITH DODGERS; APPLES SIGN KOOGRO BROTHERS TO CONTRACT

The Apples won again today on a strong start form King Felix. Andy Laroche got the first HR in Apples history in this game. Here's the final line:

W-Hernandez (1-0)
L-(Can't remember) (0-1)
S-Stamotopolis (2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The trade talks with the Dodgers for IF/OF/C Brandon Inge has stalled because the Dodgers rejected the trade offer they made. Here's hoping they can try again and sign this big prospect onto the team.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also today, the Apples signed Keith and Kyle Koogro both to one-year contracts. These are two of the best prospects in the minors, and Kyle actually got the start today, going 1-4 in CF. Keith is due in a couple of days.

That is your GreenApples Newsworm update.

wait, you play in greenapple's stadium? Goldenapple's is alot better because the dimensions are fine and theres actually a crowd there. Green Apple's stadium is small and the fans show up there like Marlin's fans
