2008 Award predictions

AL MVP- Alex Rodriguez(New York Yankees)
AL Cy Young- Roy Halladay(Toronto Blue Jays)
AL Rookie of the Year- Mo Jaguan(Memphis Eagles)

NL MVP- Albert Pujols(St. Louis Cardinals)
NL Cy Young- Johan Santana(New York Mets)
NL Rookie of the Year- Geovany Soto(Chicago Cubs)

And Memphis was just kind of a random place to locate my team, I needed it to be somewhere in the Central

And for the record, F/A is off for 2008 because I updated the rosters to '09 and I won't allow trades for 5 or 6 years because they change the rosters at a very fast pace

And I plan to keep the team the way it is for the 10 years so don't expect trades

Edit: I would've put this on your site, but for some reason the words all group together when I'm trying to seperate them when I do it there

Eagles win wild one at Fenway
After an embarrasing 18-3 beating at Comerica Park on Thursday, the Eagles were able to win their first of the season. Kris Mahay was rolling along until the 8th, with a 2 run lead and runners on 2nd and third, Mahay threw a passed ball to Robin to make it a 1 run game and then Lowell singled in the tying run. Alcheves and Jaguan both had RBI doubles in the 9th to make it 6-4. Shurhoff came in for his first outing of the season and gave up a game tying 2 run homerun to Ortiz in the bottom of the 9th. Rodrigo Ramirez homered in the 10th inning off of Takashi Saito, his second of the day, to give them a 1 run lead which Shurhoff would hold with a 1-2-3 inning.

WP- Shurhoff(1-0)
LP- Saito(0-2)
HR- Ortiz(1), R.Ramirez 2(2,3), Snow(1), Jaguan(2)

Eagles---3|0|1|0|0|0|0|0|2|1|---7|12|0|
RedSox -1|0|0|4|0|0|0|2|2|0|---6|10|0|

Coors Light Play of The Game

How long did it take you to update the rosters?

Author:  jacobye46 [ Mon Apr 13, 2009 9:23 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Memphis Eagles | Success mode team

Quite a while, plus I had to make the rotations right and the lineups, plus I had to go to the edit screen and edit rookies into real players like Nick Hundley, Edgar Gonzalez, Max Scherzer and etc. So all together it had to have tooken 1 and a half to 2 hours

Did you edit any players because Jed Lowrie is like G, F,E,F,E,E,F or something like that.

Post subject:  Re: Memphis Eagles | Success mode team

I've edited a boatload of players(Alot of Red Sox players)
And I put Lowrie to G, E, E, D, C, A and gave him 4 VS lefty and clutch hit 4 and his second position is third base now
