Post subject:  So You Want to Make an Expansion Team?
I've recently just finished my first decent chunk of my guide for my So You Want to Make an Expansion Team? guide wiki/index.php?title=Guide_to_Creating_a_Strong_and_Original_Arrange_Team. No, the purpose of this thread was not to gloat, but I just noticed the lack of guides for season mode. In fact, there is currently only one incomplete guide there, which happens to be mine. Success Mode isn't much better with only 6 guides, 3/4 of which are roughly for the same purpose (though all useful). Also, 2 of them were also by me. All 6 of them weren't really guides as much as information that didn't fit anywhere else.

We've kind of let the wiki sit. While 2009 might be close (and might now, we don't really now), we should still update 2008. Plus, anything about season mode and My Life will probably be applicable next year. So I really think we need to get our act together and get some more guides added in. Here are a list of a few suggestions:
Season Mode:
1. Dealing with the Dream Draft
2. Signing, Trading and Dealing Cheap and Affective players
3. How to Win Games; From Homeruns to Line Drives, Strikeouts to Pop Flies
4. Training Players
5. Managing Money
6. Team Specific Guides


By the way, is there any way to change the name of a page? I want to change it to "So You Want to Make an Expansion Team?" from Guide to Creating a Strong and Original Arrange Team. I think it sounds much better haha.

You can change the name by "moving" the page. (I think?)

I did a small paragraph on trade strategies at the bottom of the Season Page. I don't know if I will have enough time to expand on that but if you want me to I could try.

Actually, I thought I posted this in the Wiki General Discussion, which is where I think it should be. Mind moving it again? Haha, sorry about that. I think that would be best. Thanks for renaming it Longball and tagging it Odwali. I always forget to tag it. Also, thanks for adding the Dream Draft stratagies. I'll spellcheck your stratagies Chief and Jackson.

I think this is more useful in the Season section. Plus, you already have a thread in the Wiki section, where this idea got started. Just edit the first post with a wiki link and bump it if you want.

Ah, it's been so long I forgot about that. God it really took me along time to get this started. I should have the first third done tomorrow, but the rest will take a little longer due to mid-terms. By the end of the month, I'll have it out of the way I think, but I should probably have it done before then.
