ok so everyone tell me your best moments in you've had in a world series clincher or world series games, I was the d-backs once in dream draft and i was losing by 2 in the ninth with 2 outs, and chris young and dan uggla hit back to back homers with 2 outs in the ninth against beckett and the royals to tie the game at 2, then in the 12th inning I hit a homer to deep center with david wright and the d-backs won the championship on a walk-off homer and i remembered something special happening at the plate when wright got home but I dont remember, it was game 6 by the way |

Post subject: | Re: special moments in world series clinchers - PERFECT GAME |
Just had the game of my MLBPP life last night. Game 4 of WS, Yankees leading the series 3-0, Lincecum pitching for the New York against Tom Glavine for the Braves. The Braves sent a total of 27 men to the plate, and all 27 were retired. I've played hundreds of games in MLBPP and never got a perfect game even back when I had the settings stacked in my favor (I think I threw a 2 hitter once...). Let alone in the World Series! By the 8th inning I was so nervous that my nun-chuck thumb was shaking and I couldn't hit the corners - almost walked a couple of guys. To avoid walks I had to start throwing lots of stuff right down the middle so guys were hitting some hard line drives, luckily they always went straight at a fielder. |

I just had another moment, i was using an expansion team and in the bottom of the tenth my player "mcurdy" hit a walk-off homer to win the world series, and in the postseason i came back from 2-0 series deficite to win 3 games to 2(alds) and the best moment of that was game 5 when i was losing 7-0 in the third to make the game tied in the ninth and in the ninth at yankees stadium i exploded for 8 runs to win game 5, my expansion team is great despite my players not looking to good. |

Yankees Red Sox. Game 7. (Which do you think I was haha?) Ninth Inning. Bases Loaded, Two Outs, Down by 4. Road Runner is up (A player with Maxed speed, Base Running 4, Stealing 4, Contact Hitter, ect., but with low F power). No, he doesn't hit one out of there. He hits one deep to right field with the outfield in. It rolls and rolls towards the wall. All the players make it home, but as Road Runner should be running home, I made a mistake and had him go back to third by accident. He quickly got caught in a pickle, but he made it back to third. During the next at-bat, the catcher blocked what would have been a wild pitch, but my runner already started going. He got caught in a pickle, but he went back and forth and managed to steal home! The Yankees went to the World Series and swept the Mets. (I actually was leading 3-0 against the Red Sox and caught bored from the game being too easy. I let the Sox win the next 3 and let them take the lead by 4 runs in the 8th to challenge myself haha). |
