So I used my team that I created with success mode in season mode (web address - wiki/index.php?title=RAMA_CLONE-STARS). They were undefeated and swept every team in the playoffs in a simulated season. The problem now is that even though I won almost all the games I have no way to make payroll. I am still at minus $30000. The overall payroll was $330 000 and I just could not make enough points to cover. It dread what is going to happen in the off-season. Well, the teams main purpose is to win the gambling games for casinos and not to play in a league so it makes sense they will struggle. However, i am going to continue to keep them going and see if I can keep most of the team together. |

ouch.. Never thought it would cost so much You have to let some of them go, or else you'll fail the season Whatever you do, good luck, cause so far I manage to get only 150k profit in 5 years (Simulated like you) and the salary is only 80k, so yeah |

THe total profit was over 250000 but still not enough. Also, once you spend over the cap you pay a penalty (22% first year then over 30 then over 40) that gets ditributed to the lower cost teams. I will have to get rid of alot never mind a few. Well, next time I will add only a few. The sad part is that whether they were added as the original 4 or they were added as Free agent after the season started most of the players listed as 15 000 starting pay. |

Have you register them at the beginning, not through the free agents? They cost alot by free agents |

I did register the 4 at the beginning. I registered the three infield marks and 1 catcher grandpa but did not matter. The beginning registered and the free agents all posted at 15000. I think next time I will register the pitchers at the beginning as they were only 14000 and change which means they will come down. I think the reasoning is that 15000 is the max cap for a new player. SOm ewhen they go to free agency they ask for their max. You get a deduction let's say 15% off for the 4 you register yet in this case you don't. That is because they are beyond the abilities required to set the 15000 cap. Let's say their free agent value is really 25000 but since the cap is 15000 then they show 15000 as free agent. On the team they still are over the cap as 21250 is 85% of 25000 so they are still ove the max. The 14000 character as a free agent would be lower as a pre-registered so I will use the lower for the four next time. |

Ou.. Actually, I once edited one of the players to the maxed, and don't they increase their fatigue more than the other players? On topic: Truly I'm an evil dude The triple crown winner, whose actually my own created player, asks for 17k and I only offered him 7k i pushed him till the edge, and finally accepts |

Hopefully, I can do something like that with all mine during the off season. I am sure they are all going to ask for more then the 15000 they had the first year. I won almost every trophy except relief pitcher as mine was not busy with so many complete games. If I can bring them down I might keep them but I doubt it. We shall see. |

Here's what you do: Create an expansion team in create a team. Put all your success guys on it. Then, on season mode select, replace an expansion team with yours. Enjoy a slightly lowered payroll. |

Still cost too much. What I have done is make a new team with 7 Rons the intimidator pitcher (6 starters and 1 relif) and 2 grandpa, 1 markss. This wasy the 4 rons started at 2000, The 3 hitters start at 15000 but I can cover that. That gives me enough pop to score runs and pitchers that dominate. The eventual pay will increase but I think I can mange them. I have to use the expansion players but as they don't matter too much I can keep there salary low. |

When you sign free agents or renew contracts does it use the players stats to figure out how much he demands, his abilities/ratings? I play all my games and lots of guys are overachieving (Cano's batting average is .550) so I'm worried he's gonna be expecting a crazy raise, along with the rest of the team. |

We went bankrupt after season 1. I started a new expansion team with just the 4 fielders and 6 ronsp (intimidator pitcher, registered 4, they start much lower). Looks like the gyroball is highly rated as all the gyro pitchers still start with high salaries even when registered but the intimidators start with reasonable salaries. I am playing more games with this group (more for fun they still kicked but when I do sim) so I am only in second season but pay is only 130000. Only lost 5 games the first year (mostly simulated) and none so far season 2 (most played) but I will be simulating more again. |
