How many dollars would one point be judging by the salaries?

yup.

Oh and by the way, I know that the minimun MLB salary is 390,000 , so that's how I got the number.

What I figured is you add 3 zeros to anyone's salaries.
So D. Pedroia would be 390,000 in real life.

that's multiplying by 1,000.
try it
156
x1000
156000

just add the 0's. or, to make it easier (or harder), 10^3 is 1000. so add three 0's to it. this works with 10^4, 10^5, etc.

No, you just paid about 1,000,000. If it was 10,000,000; the salary in PP would be "10,000". As others have mentioned, about 3 zeros have been knocked off for game salaries. I'm glad they did this, too, because it really simplifies everything.

I did pay 10,000 for him.

10,000X1000
=10,000,000

Someone made this, I didn't have a clue and was quite curious. I sort of figured it out when I did Life.

Okajima costs 10,000 in your game? Funny, he only costs about 1,000 in mine. I can't see how a left-handed relief pitcher who's not all that great can cost so much??

Oh if you're wondering, I'm not talking about salary. I'm talking about how I traded the Red Sox 10,000 points for him.
