I had my thumb on the Submit button then chickened out...I need some support here! I'm managing the Yankees and trying to shed their massive payroll. To Colorado: Jorge Posada Carl Pavano Mariano Rivera To Yankees Yorvit Torreabla Jeff Francis Manny Corpas I realize that in real life trading Rivera and Posada would probably earn me a public hanging in the Bronx but when you look at the numbers it makes sense. Both are over 35 and cost a fortune. I'm in my first season but I hear that players decline rapidly after 35 in MLBPP. Plus, getting rid of Pavano is every Yankees fan's dream. I don't remember exactly the salaries - I'm at work right now, obviously working very hard, so I can't fire up the Wii and check. I do remember that I would save a fair bit of cash. |

You made some great points.... Here are the salaries for everyone.... Rockies Players Corpas- 390 Torrealba- 3620 Francis- 3100 Yankees Players Posada- 13100 M. Rivera- 15000 Pavano- 10500 You could really make a "splash" in F/A if this trade goes. |

I don't think that's a great trade, I think you may be able to find some other more talented players to trade for. |

Posada's amazing! Just pt his slary down, if you need to get rid of yer shortstop, David Eckstein is WA better than A-Rod in the game. A i would get rid of the other 2, but get some better players for them! |

Pavano is suprisingly very easy to trade, don't say yes. Trade Pavano seperately for a hunk of cash or a load of cash and a decent player. With the Yankees and their pitching depth in game, I'd take the hunk of cash and maybe dip into the free-agent market. Have Kartsens or Joba start instead (I raised Joba's stamina to C). |

Yeah now for my opinion, (the other post was a information post) Go for the 1 for 1 player trades instead of 3 for 3 players. And Kennedy, Hughes, can start for you. |

1 on 1 trades are best? Makes sense. I traded Mussina for Bedard straight up and that seemed like a good deal. I've been shopping Pavano 1 for 1 and can't seem to find a good deal, hence the package I've assembled. One problem I have with the game in general is that you can't use a normal 5 man rotation because they don't recover from their starts fast enough. So, Pavano is my spot starter at the moment and anybody I get in return for him basically has to have minimum B stamina. |

Good trade. Getting rid of old players (Rivera, Mussina etc.) to clear a 200k salary. It is difficult playing the yankee's. |

No basically just looking at the number of stars the trade gets before hitting the Request button. I look for at least 3 stars as per the manual. |

I usually go for 2 "stars"... When you have 3, it seems like the computer knows that it is getting the better deal in the trade. And 1 "stars" don't usually go through. |

Really I've been getting hosed then because somebody told me that it wasn't even worth submitting a 2 star trade because they never go through. This news opens up my Pavano trading abilities greatly. |

Yeah 2 stars can go through..... But I really stay away from 1, you have to s/l like 100 times. |

2 stars can go through with S/L. I stand by Sparkplug, 1 star trades are almost impossible. |
