If a player is called up during September call-ups does he not count for rookie of the year? Or does a player count for rookie of the year no matter when he's called up? |

The time has nothing to do with eligibility. |

Darn. Then I don't want any of my recently drafted players playing this year at all. |

There should... be a minimum number of days in majors / games / inning pitched / ABs to qualify for the ROTY award. That's how K-Rod could go 5-1 with the Angels during that WS winning season and qualify for ROTY in his 2nd year. |

The game makes some mistakes with this with player from last year. For example, Joba Chamberlain is not a rookie in the game but he is in real life. |

There's A LOT of players who should be rookies who aren't. Geovany Soto played in September and the postseason last year, but he's not a ROY contender in the game. |
