i had just won the World Series, this was my lineup:

Rotation: Lincecum
Wang
Volquez
Cain
Duchsherer (edited to be starter)

Notable Relievers: Closer: Pat Neshek
Set Up Man: Bikowski (rookie with following stats:
CTRL: 118
STAM: 120
FORK: 3
CB: 3
SLV: 3
SLD: 3)

C: Coste (edited to D,D,E,C,D)
1B: A. Gonzalez
2B: Phillips
SS: H. Kendrick (I traded Yunel Escobar)
3B: Figgins
LF: Braun
CF: B.J. Upton
RF: Hawpe

I re-sign 5 guys, but I decide to make Duchsherer leave (5900 was too much)
Thinking I won't get all of them, I make offers to:
Pedro Martinez
Andy Petitte
Matt Clement
Francisco Rodriguez
Jake Westbrook
C.C. Sabathia
Carl Crawford
Vladimir Guerrero

I end up signing all of them except Clement. Now I can't trade them (high salary i guess) and I now have:
Lincecum
Wang
Volquez
Cain
Sabathia
Petitte
Westbrook
all at pitcher and:

Braun
Hawpe
Upton
Crawford
Guererro

and I figured i could trade them, which i can't, and i figured that because all of them had other teams set up for negotiations, i wouldn't get all of them.
Of course he guy who i really needed, Orlando Hudson, I couldn't get...

Actually I find that's it's harder to trade them in the off-season than the regular season, so try and wait til then.

until the season, who should i put in my rotation?

i had edited volquez so he has 4 sld, 5 cb, 4 chg
i had also edited sabathia so he has 6 slv, 4 cchg

Huh? That's crazy, I can easily trade anyone for points, and you should be able to get tons of points for those people. I'm really suprised it isn't working for you.

I've tried trading hawpe (salary 4000), guerrero (13333), and Pedro Martinez (13333) for 1 point. It's only rated 1 star.

Ouch! I call collusion on this, all the GM's hated you for signing all of the players so they ganged up and decided to not accept any offer from you for one of the players.
