Post subject:  Pirates franchise
I am going to do a franchise where I play the game and then I post up a summary and some stats of the game.

I will be posting pictures and stuff for player of the game constructive criticizem welcome!

I won't do play-by-play unless you want me to here will be a example:

Top 1st: runners at corners, 1 out, RBI single by Morneau, 1-0 Twins.

Bot 2nd: Solo shot by Hunter 1-1. runners at 2nd and 3rd, 2 out. 2RBI single by Matthews 3-1 Angels.

So on and so one.

I know it's not the Pirates but it's just an example.

I will. I will also not be playing all 162 games. I will probably play a gam sim some and then play another sim some. I will tell you the scores of the game.

The Pirates have been busy trading away players like for Jason and gaining may prospects like Brandon Moss, Andy LaRoche, and many others. Over the next years the Pirates will be looking to make them into top class players. As the new GM I won't expect a Play-off run right away.

Season Goals:
Finish out of the basement in NL Central
Draft and Trade for more prospects
Someone win ROY

FREE AGENTS

The Pirates have picked up a couple young players from the Free Agent Pool!

He's only 26 and yet to reach prime it's worth the wait to devolop him.

Not a super star, not at his prime yet. If Adam LaRoche gets traded he will probably get the job.


Angel Chavez 3B

Young and still rookie. Excellent arm which will be good for 3rd. Fielding and Batting is a concern.

I am still on the prowess of getting Ruggiano. Not sure is he will devolop into a good LF. Young, but needs work everywhere.

I lied sorry, I didn't get a chance to play opening day today, I promise tomorrow though. Maybe 2 beacause I won't be around Wed.
