Kurt Suzuki got body checked TWICE in one inning, he later also got hurt in a slide, he didn't come back from that. Jason Varitek got hurt three times sliding into third and ran into the backstop. Matsuzaka was injured later as well. |

I had one game (which was great for me) where every catcher and second-base man of the sox got injured. The second base man got injured sliding into second and the pinch-runner (also a second base man) got injured going to third of a deep pop fly (and he was out too). The catcher got injured hitting and the second defending. I believe a pitcher catched or something like that. It was the 07 game so I don't remember the specifics. Yanks won. |

Its fun hearing Jack Merluzzi (this is a first, liking jack's commentary  ) say "Oh, He Runs Into The Wall!" I guess its his tone of voice, he's kind of laughing when he says it.
