Note: As Alonzo Brown was filling out the necessary paperwork for his employees, the computer records for Jack Caselli showed that he was in fact not 12, but 18 years old. "As long as he can hit, I could care less," thought Alonzo, and said nothing about it. |

So, a guy who starts the game in LF might pitch, then go to 1B, and wind up in RF to finish. In short, there's not much of a set lineup. Default right now is this: 1. HUXLEY, CF 2. CASELLI, LF 3. YOKEL, 2B 4. SANTOS, 3B 5. DERBY, 1B 6. BRADLEY, RF 7. PITCHER 8. TOWNS, C 9. HERNANDEZ, SS |

February 28, 2016 (evening) ... The newly christened Blackjacks made for quite a jubilant clubhouse after taking two games from the Giants, whom many considered a WS favorite. But, although Alfonzo knew it was only two games, he let himself and his players enjoy the moment. He slept well that night, aching knees and all. ... note: I'm going to give all the players three chance to get blue abilities before the season starts. On March 1, March 15, and March 30, players will be given multiple choice options in a scenario. Each choice will be linked to a blue ability, and I'll make sure they are ones that accentuate your player skill sets. Just wanted yall to know what I'm going to be up to with upcoming events. ... |

March 1st Alonzo pulled Towns, Derby, Caselli, Bradley, and Yokel aside after morning warmups. "You guys are still pretty new to the team, and that means we haven't yet learned what all your strengths are. This next exercise is designed to help you unlock what those strengths might be. Head back to the locker room. There you will meet one of our special instructors. And good luck." ... A woman was sitting cross legged on the clubhouse floor, a small cushion beneath where she sat. "Do I smell incense?" Lance Derby said aloud "Yes you do", said the woman in an accent that was not American, "does incense bother you?" "No...it's nice", Lance said,"it's just different is all" "Well, it should help you relax for our next exercise" she said "Who...are you exactly?" asked John Bradley, "I am Daniella, I'm an old friend of Alfonzo's. I help people unlock their hidden potential. Now, please remove your shoes and take a seat on one of the cushions I've provided." Five cushions were arranged in a semicircle in front of her. Each of the players sat down. "I need you to close your eyes. What we are looking for is not something you can see with eyes open." They closed their eyes. "Breathe in a slow, deep breath, filling your lungs completely. Feeling your lungs fully expanded, release the breath slowly, and keep breathing like this as you listen to only my voice. Your mind is clear. You are here, now, and that is all." A calm stillness filled the room. Each man was in a serene state of mind. Daniella spoke for some time, of mountains, of clouds, of fields, of oceans and of desert sands, until the men had reached the place in their minds she had set out to guide them towards, to where they had a clear vision of their own spirit animal in their minds. Then she spoke directly to each man. "John, I feel you are envisioning an African animal, what are you seeing?" 1. Rhino, 2. Elephant, 3. Gorilla, 4. Hyena "Dusty, I feel you are seeing an animal of the ocean, what is it?" 1. Orca, 2. Shark, 3. SeaLion, 4. Octopus "Jack, I sense you are feeling the power of a great feline, what are you seeing?" 1.
