another thing I've noticed is that there have been a ton of injuries this year, all minor

When I went to SF, Garko was on the bench and he was injured and replaced by Ortmeier

And today Ruben Gotay replaced an injured Chipper Jones

I've never seen players get replaced when they were injured, it's actually been rare to see an injury to another team player

WOW! Great job! What settings do you use? I'm assuming with your record, you're using pretty hard settings.

Duke threw the first no-hitter since Fransisco Cordova and Ricardo Rincon in 1997 today vs the Braves. One walk was all that was away from perfection but Duke will take it anyways. The only runs that the Pirates got in a 2-0 win was a 2-run homerun from Luis Cruz(1st) and Duke will appreciate that. Duke's ERA has fallen to 2.33 with that and he goes to 3-1 this year

WP- Duke(3-2) | LP- Lowe(3-4)

Albert Pujols. That title says it all as the legend from the cardinals blasted 3 homeruns er route to an 8-3 Cardinals win. It started off good with 3 consectutive doubles from Doumit, Vazquez and Milledge to make it 3-0 in the 1st but 3 Pujols homeruns and a Ludwick homerun were enough to cap 8 runs in the first 4 innings.

Cardinals win 8-3

WP: Piniero(1-1) | LP: Ohlendorf(2-4)
Homeruns: Cardinals- Pujols(16, 17, 18) Ludwick(8)

Doumit: 2-3, 2 2B
Cedeno: 2-5, 2B
Ohlendorf: 3 IP, 5 R

Image
Schumaker: 4-5
Holliday: 3-5, 2B
Pujols: 3-5, 3 HR
Piniero: 6 IP, 3 R

Also, Milledge only has 2 stolen bases

OK. Also, both of my clients wish to know their batting stats.

A Pirates win today could'nt have been any sweeter. With a tough May, the Pirates have put themselves out of contention already but can still enjoy the rest of the season as they enjoyed today. After being down 5-2 in the 6th, Rivas hit a 2 run homerun to make it 5-4 and in the 7th, Milledge tied it with an RBI double. The game would stay like then in the 9th when with Milledge on first, he stole second and moved to third on a wild pitch. Clement would drive him in for the 6-5 walkoff win in PNC Park.

In-Game Injrury Report
2B Ronny Cedeno had to leave the game after diving and hurting himself. Brewers C Jason Kendall also had to leave the game after he made a great catch crashing against the wall at the backstop.

Pirates win 6-5

HR: Brewers- Fielder(12, 13) | Pirates- Rivas(2)

Suppan: 5.2, 3 R

Jones: 3-5
Clement: 2-4, Walk-off single
Karstens: 2.1 IP, 5 R(2 earned)
