The Eagles and The Whales: The Future of the MLB?

On October 12, Major League Greats Rev Davis and Jason De La Cruz met in commisioner Bud Selig's office to discuss the formation of two new baseball teams. When first told of the proposition on October 10th by Rev Davis, the commisioner laughed. But now it is now November and the greats are well into the development. Rev has had his eye out for talent, not using one scout to help out with mission at hand. But on the other hand, Jason has hired top scouts for his team.

It is rumored that Jason has signed a deal with the Dominican Republican phenom by the short name of Sy. Sy is the single handed greatest player in the Dominican Republic, an arsonal of nasty stuff. In his freshman year in college, he went 20-1 with 305 Strike Outs and a 1.02 ERA. The kid is amazing and the Eagles will have a hard time fighting this guy if he actually signs.

Rev has some fight in him as well. He has put confindence in player that cannot even drink yet, signing numerous 19 year old players along with the three former rap stars Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and KiD CuDi. Some say that Rev is a crazy man and his strategys will never work. When asked in an interview, all Rev said was, "If I'm really that crazy, why am I here right now?

The two have released the official information for their teams as of yesterday. Rev's team is going to be called the Las Vegas Eagles. They are going to be added to the AL West and play at Panpaka Park, still in the construction process. They will play Spring Training games in Arizona. Jason's team, called the Hawaii Whales (named after Hawaii's mammal), will play at Rainbow Stadium and will as well be in the AL West, a rivalry sure to increase the ratings. They too will play in Arizona.

Las Vegas Times
December 3rd, 2034
With the addition of the Las Vegas Eagles to Sin City, the Las Vegas Times is to welcome a new sports section. There hasn't been a dominant sports team in Las Vegas for a while. Because of this, the Las Vegas Times are going to be releasing a full sports section of the paper, rather than it going in the Las Vegas Buzz. The city of Las Vegas has hired a baseball journalism squad and broadcasters to join:

Journalists
Franky Martinez - 29 Years Old. Has played baseball in an independant league before retirement in 2009.
Jeff Kawakami - 45 Years Old. Long time baseball fan. Has a great knowledge of the game.
Matthew Anderson - 31 Years Old. Long time Japanese baseball great. Inducted into H.O.F. Perusing career as journalist.
Lawrence Holon - Former broadcaster for the Monteral Expos. Transitioned to journalist for Nationals, but has taken job for Eagles.
Lillian Porter - 22 Years Old. Only female on journalist team. Former softball player.

Broadcasters:
Derek Jordan(Main) - 51 Years Old. Former player/manager of game.
Ray William(Main) - 49 Years Old. Former player/manager of game.
Ren Kweli(Dugout) - 26 Years Old. Energetic Baseball Fan.

The first addition of the sports page will come out tomorrow. These young journalist and broadcasters will get their shot at glory and taste of the newspaper.

If this guy was so good and still only 31 years old, why did he retire? :?

Matthew: "It's a long story. In my final year before I retired, I did something unspeakable. I hit a line drive right into the eye of a pitcher. It blinded him in his eye and he was never the same again. He had to retire. He said that the pain was indescribable. I swore that as long as I live, I would never hurt another human being, even if it means having to give up the game I love, that I have devoted myself to. I'm sorry *sniffle*, I need a moment!"

Jeff Kawakami

Rev Davis has yet again made a shocking move. Rev Davis has decided to sign his old college, Dusty Jaybe. Dusty was known as having unusual methods to train his players. He conducted a type of practice known as “Hell Training” when his team lost 3 or more in a row. The more loses, the harder the workout.
Rev was quoted saying, “This is what made me the player I was. He was the reason I got in to the Hall.” When fellow players heard of the news, they didn’t seem very excited to meet the new coach. When told about his methods, some players had a look of fear.
Rev has also signed D.J. Monroe to be a batting coach and Tyrone “Nitro” Jackson as the pitching coach. D.J. played baseball in an independent league, but was never noticed by Major League Scouts. He was a great hitter and was previously a hitting coach for a team in South Australia before Rev signed him. Tyrone played alongside D.J., a great pitcher himself. He had an electrifying fastball, reaching 100+. He was also a coach for the same team before Rev signed him.
Jason De La Cruz has some tricks up his sleeve as well. Jason has decided to sign Frank “The Human Devil” Bartlett. Frank’s methods are 10 times worse than Dusty’s. He would have them to practice worse than Hell Training if they ever lost by more than 2 on their off days. Frank has a loudmouth and was accused of having his players injure others on the opposing team. In 2018, he was fined $100,000 by MLB for punching an umpire after they lost a game when a fan clearly interfered on a home run ball.
Jason has also told his son, Jacob, that he could be the pitching coach for the Whales. He accepted the offer. He is only 25 years and he quit baseball in high school after he suffered a major injury. He was a great baseball player and was 27-0 with a 1.05 ERA and 361 K’s. He will still be able to coach and show players what they should be doing, but he will never be able to throw.

Whales vs Eagles?

Franky Martinez

There have been rumors of a Whales vs Eagles in our midst. If this game is true, it has been scheduled to be played, not during Spring Training, but on January 23rd in Hawaii and January 25th in Las Vegas. These games will showcase some of the future stars that the game will have.

This game will be a good time to showcase the young stars of the Whales and the Eagles. The rosters for either team has not yet been published, but we can conclude that both teams have at least 20 players. You ready for the Eagles Las Vegas?

Authors Note: Post your responses on how you think the game will go. There are still agents. Any agents unclaimed by the start of the season will be used by me.
