Plans for the future was to make Saipe improve his contact hitting and turn him into a premium shortstop as his fielding is already very good for his age. Halter will slowly make a transition into a starter role, but will be in the bullpen by the end of the year as he works on his top speed and is going to learn a changeup/circle changeup in spring training.

Saipe is a great guy to improve on, he can be very good and better than Guzman in a few years
