But you're over .500 right
In my marlins franchise they're sure not the worst team. I was 3-0 then the Pirates come town and beat me in 2 straight.

I plan ok doingva game summary on the last game of the series

Yeah, we're definetly over .500. I think we are around .535 or something, which is very good.

If you have around that winning % then you're probably in like 2nd or 3rd

i'd go for somebody like nick blackburn (twins) or yovani gallardo (brewers)
very good, very young, very cheap (390 or 400)

Huge Trade on Florida's Table - Anibal Sanchez for Brian Bixler

A source close to the Pirates has confirmed they have offered the Florida Marlins young shortshop Brain Bixler for pitcher Anibal Sanchez. Anibal is expected to be the one to replace Hamels in the rotation; he's nice, he's young, and he's also pitched a no hitter in his very promising career, which is one of the reasons they sought after him. This trade removes every possibility of Derek Lowe being acquired this year, unless of course, they decide to change that and offer their star pitcher - Zach Duke.

June 26 - Pirates @ New York Yankees

This has been a tough matchup so far. The Yankees have Alex Rodriguez who has been leading the assault against these young Bucs, but the Pirates have countered - putting everything they've got on the mound, even having Zach Duke throw a no hitter in game one! Now, it is game three... the victor here runs away with the series!

Yay you followed my pictures idea
And this'll definetly test the Pirate's, the Yankees offense is the best in this game

Pirates win in nine! Ryan Zimmerman welcomed with open-arms!

This was one for the record books. The Yankees continually tried to tear at a young Gorzelanny, but he was able to say "no way jose!" for most of the game! However, he put on a good performance, going 7 and 1/3 innings, giving up seven hits, striking out three, and letting three guys cross home. Unfortuanetly he pitched a no decision.

However, Ryan Dumatrait came into the game for 1 and 2/3 of an inning, giving up seven hits, striking out two, and letting an incredible five runners score. Despite his horrible performance, he came away with the victory after RYAN ZIMMERMAN belted one into the stands.

He hit the game winning homerun in the bottom of the eighth - his only hit in the game, but oh was it a big one!

Pirates: 10|16|0
Yankees: 8|14|0

(First column is hits, then runs, then errors.)

One trade accepted; another on the table for Florida

Andrew ReLink, General Manager of the Pirates, has confirmed that the Bixler-Sanchez deal went through earlier today. This means - shortstop Brian Bixler will be shipped off to Florida and Anibal Sanchez will come to the Pits in hopes of guiding them to the world series!

Andrew also confirmed the possibility of another trade with the Marlins before the deadline is up, one which would send star second baseman, Freddy Sanchez, to Florida for Dan Uggla.

That would be a great trade for uggla, he can bet .300 a year and hit 40 homers

...Yeah, Marlins have been my goto team this year. Mike Jacobs, Anibal, and now Uggla...

They're like sixteen games out of first behind the Mets though, and Sanchez can help them out defensively. Other than that, yeah the trade will be great for me! Uggla has twenty-two homeruns and is batting .312.

45-35 .563% winning percentage and three games out of first. I'm currently in third.
