Well I've gotta listen to the Mariners fan. He's got some decent pop and is pretty quick, C speed. Can easily be developed, plus he's only 24.

A day for the sluggers, as both teams combined for five homeruns. The Mariners were good today, but just not good enough, succumbing to the long ball as the Yankees hit their way to victory today, scoring eleven runs to beat the Seattle ball club. Seattle made an effort to comeback, scoring five runs in the eighth to be down by just one, but the Yankees wanted no part of that, scoring three opinion the bottom of that inning to decisively win the game.

Phil Hughes: (7 & 1/3 IP, 7 R, 12 H, 1 K)
Jason Giambi: (2-4, 1 HR, 3 RBI)

Mr. Elijah Dukes is grateful to the Mariners for the opportunity to learn from Ichiro and Ibanez (and maybe win the RF job next season!) and share his spectrum of beef jerky flavors with the Mariners and their fans. Also, Mr. Dukes is requesting a contract clause that prohibits the Mariners from any and all affiliations with former Mariner Bret Boone and his stupid botox-infused Brandt's Beef Jerky:

Mr. Dukes would appreciate the opportunity to "show these mothergrabbers how a real contact practice should go." However, in the event that the 50,000 All-Around Bat is purchased in June, Mr. Dukes would very much like to "ride that b8tch to the Hall of Mothergrabbing Fame."
