Uh, 340-350 something. I think it was about ten points lower than Mauer's, not sure.

Stros also won ninety+ games, but tied the Cubs and lost the one game playoff.

It's rigged I tell ya....

Could you look at how the pitching staff did if it's not too much trouble?

Lance, I was wrong about your record. You guys finished with 85+ wins instead of ninety, sorry. You guys did lose to the Cubs in the tiebreaker, though

Looks like Vargas had a nice season. What happened to Mike Hampton though?

He ruptured a tendon in July. He was looking pretty good; 8-4, 3.32 ERA, 122 IP, 61 strike outs.

What's worse?

He only had five hits for the Nationals in fifty-three games. Did I mention he came up to the plate about 100 times?

Boston Ready for Game 2 of ALCS

The Boston Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees in last night's American League showdown. Tonight, Joba Chamberlain squares off the against the Red Sox. Daniel Bard will get the start for the Sox - he's hoping to improve the Red Sox's World Series chances!

Cubs Say "What Curse?"; Set to Face Boston in Fall Classic...

...

...

...

Two teams which were supposedly cursed and never to make the World Series - or win it - are set to duke it out in the World Series! The Chicago Cubs and the infamous Billy goat are no more, and the Sox and the Bambino have parted ways... it's time to see who will win the World Series!

Chicago has a stronger and older team than Boston with solid pitching, but Boston's prospects and terrific pitching will be hard to beat. Top baseball analysts, like Gammons, think the Cubs will beat the Sox in seven games...

Boston's Burnett (2-0, 1.50 ERA) will take on Chicago's Harden (3-0, 2.95 ERA). Derrek Lee of Chicago is red hot. He should be a key player in this match up, while Boston's Adam Dunn is doing even better - homering in each of the past six games for six home runs, while batting over .600 in the playoffs.
