Ok, check the first page and tell me if that makes sense.

That's... Almost the exact same thing I was going to do...

Except I'm just letting the players get signed, how would you possibly assign them anyway?

I already had the first 3 years of players planned. I was going to switch out one of them, I still might, but I can't get the player because AgentP's parents never leave the house for 5 minutes apparently.

I basically just trade him away for a point.

Hm, well, I wasn't really using real players anyway, just random success players. I guess a couple of them are based on real players, like Bard and Van Every, but most of them are just success mode players based on nothing.

I would have done success players but would take too long, plus real guys add a sense of realism.

Take too long?

It would take the exact same amount of time to bring in success players based on real players as it would to bring in any other success players.

With PS2, most players out there are real guys. If I were to go with success mode players, I'd have to create most of them myself.

True if you had it for 2007 I have a giant collection of players I made that you could use. I havent posted them yet though.

Ha, I knew about this before you guys. :D

I think its a good idea though. Some of these players could turn a team around.

Draft Update

The MLB Draft is still two months away, but teams are already scrambling to workouts and practices to check a glimpse of these future stars. The Rays have the first pick, and have basically have been on the clock since last September. There isn't much known about what the Rays are planning, but sources say they are looking for a player who can make an immediate impact. The top ten picks are as followed: the Rays, Pirates, Royals, Orioles, Giants, Marlins, White Sox, Reds, Astros, and Nationals.

Prospects

Jose Altuve
A right-handed second baseman from Texas, Altuve only excels in one area (speed), and is pretty much average everywhere else. But this leaves him with no major flaws but limited potential, likely making him the safest pick in the draft.

Madison Bumgarner
A boom or bust pitcher from California, Bumgarner has the control, stamina, and top speed needed to be a top of the roation kind of guy. But he has six mediocre breaking balls, meaning he may have to rely on his fastball too much. If he can make a couple of his pitches better, he'll probably compete for some Cy Young Awards.

Neftali Feliz
Probably the strongest arm from the draft, Feliz can constantly hit 97-98 on the radar gun. And while he's a strikeout machine and causes batters to shake in fear, that might be because of his bad control. If he wants to be a starter, he'll need to get that fixed.

Nick Hundley
A righty catcher from San Diego, Hundley has fairly solid power and decent fielding. But his
terrible run speed (even for a catcher) and abysmal contact may cause him to need a year of seasoning in the minors before he's ready

Mike Minor
A southpaw from Georgia, Minor's skills are good, but not great. His top speed can constantly hit 90, he can typically go five or six innings, and he's usually around the zone. And while he isn't ace material, he can become a solid number two or three.

Logan Morrison
Maybe the most confusing prospect is Morrison. His natural position is first base, but some scouts want him to play left due to his arm strength, and then reconsider it when they see him field. Power is there, so if he can figure out the defense, he'll be a valuable outfielder. If he can't, he'll just be another dime-a-dozen first baseman.

Mike Moustakas
A third baseman from Missouri, Moustakas looks to be a productive, yet streaky, player throughout his career. He has outstanding power and great arm strength down at the hot corner, but he's prone to strikeouts and will pick up his share of golden sombreros along with a couple too many errors.

Gerardo Parra
A very underrated prospect from Arizona, he does all the little things well. Bunting, stealing, fielding, etc. But hitting on the other hand is his weakness. He is well below average when it comes to both hitting for contact and power. Scouts believe that he may be better suited as a platoon player or a defensive substitution.

David Price
Probably the most MLB ready player in this year's draft. Price has a razor sharp slider, top speed up past 95, can pile up strikeouts, and has enough stamina to go eight or nine innings in most of his starts. If there is anything that scouts think he should work on is control. It's barely above average and could use some work.

Giancarlo 'Mike' Stanton
An intimidating power hitter from the same college as Morrison, Stanton looks poised to win multiple home run title. He has the best power in the draft to go along with above average speed and a great arm. His only drawbacks are his terrible contact and his general defense (although he has been known to make ridiculous home-run robbing catches).

Can I be agent for the draft player you get? The good one, not the gray bar one.

If Morgan gets traded, then yes. Also, these guys will end up on the rosters at the beginning of next season.
