After this Nolen came to bat and grounded out, but Sequea was out, not Rolen. After that, Martel came up and got a basehit. But then Tyson grounded into a double play to end the threat. In the next frame, Matsui gets a double, Cabrera grounds out (advancing Matsui to third), and is driven home by a high hop of a groundball. The next frame, Palmer drives a double to center. Harris grounds out, but advances Palmer to third. Fiore then gets a bloop base hit, hitting Palmer home, cutting the lead to 2-1. In the bottom of the inning, A-Rod absolutely CRUSHES a 446 foot solo shot to extend the Yankees lead, 3-1. In the bottom of the 7th, the Yankees Melky Cabrera steals a base which proves costly for Jacksonville, as Cano hits an RBI single, widening the lead to 4-1. After this, Abreau gets another RBI single: lead widens to 5-1. After another basehit, the Yankees get ANOTHER one, lead now 6-1. In the bottom of the 8th, with the bases juiced, Jeter hits a FC, scoring a run, 7-1. Next frame, the Cheetahs cleanup hitter Fiore CRUSHES a terrible pitch for a solo shot, 7-2 now. Do I smell a rally? Nope. No more hits shall come, as the Cheetahs lose 7-2.
