Howard is in his comfort zone batting cleanup. He will be looking forward to producing another 50-homer season for the Stranglers.

Paul challenges any other Stranglers starter to a bet. Whoever finishes with a lower ERA than him wins the bet. Prizes are TBA.

No, Wilson will not play "good" this year. He might play well, though. :lol:
In all seriousness, he was banged up. (just like real life). I might have been a little hard on him.

Stranglers Year in Review
Last year, MLB's newest franchise took the entire league by surprise by capturing the regular season crown and the World Series trophy. They were in second place in September before going an amazing 20-2 to win the NL East. Ryan Howard hit 58 home runs, Starr hit for a .343 average, and Kennedy collected 125 RBI. These youngsters had once had trouble fitting together, but got it together for a World Series title.

Preview Part 1
Scranton is certainly looking good again this year, with an offense that could challenge Murderer's Row. The pitching staff looks to improve. Acting GMs, Sittch W. and Joey Yost proved that they are going to be very aggressive. With risky signings like Bobby Abreu, Mark Prior, and Mike Mussina, they have shown that they're not playing around. They also look to go after Japanese sensation, Yu Darvish.

The bidding for Yu Darvish's negotiating rights has ended. (I used a random number generator). The following ten teams all placed bids.

Cardinals bid 13,000,000

Orioles bid 15,000,000

Marlins bid 21,000,000

Phillies bid 22,000,000

Red Sox bid 26,000,000

Rangers and Dodgers bid 31,000,000

Yankees bid 32,000,000

Mets bid 33,000,000

Stranglers bid 35,000,000. Stranglers win negotiating rights to Darvish for 30 days.

*I did not fix the bidding, I won by pure luck.
