Sweeney was actually starting to get pretty good, he was at something like C contact, E power, good hitter.

Why'd you trade him then? That seems like too much to give up for Butler, unless you edited him. Butler's a better hitter, but with terrible fielding and speed, he's nothing more than a decent DH.

Butler is one of the few players that were edited prior to me even making this season. He has 3 TRJ, C contact, mid B power, so he's pretty good.

I'd have to check, but most young guys that were underrated I edited, denard span, joe Mauer, Justin verlander, etc.

this happened all before I did my roster updates, also, go on the draft thing.

Seattle Mariners (54-32) @ Pittsburgh Pirates (41-45[/size]
July 5th, 2009.

Mariners win in tight extra innings match against the Pirates

Mariners: 5
Pirates: 2

Win: F. Hernandez (7-5)
Save: X
Loss: D. Marte (0-1)
HR: Bay (13)
R. Paulino (8), Dukes (4)

Pittsburgh -- The Pirates suffered a devastating loss in a very tight 14 inning long game. Homer Bailey started the game for Seattle, going 6 innings, while on Pittsburghs side, Great Cruz, also known as some Japanese name, but the author couldn't remember it went ten strong, mainly due to the lack of pitches per inning. The game was relatively even for the first little while, the Pirates leading by just one after 7 innings, but in the eight Seattle tied in on a long ball by Ronny Paulino. After that, the teams remained stable, pitching 1-2-3 innings in and out until the top of the 14th innning when Elijah "Jerky" Dukes smashed a three run home-run with two runners in scoring position to bump the Mariners on top, the game stayed that way through the bottom on the 14th. We conducted an interview with Great Cruz about how his "great" (get it?) performance dwindled down into a no-decision.

"Nō no kettei o ukenakattaga, soreha saishūtekini subete daijōbudesu. Watashi wa hijō ni yoku nagetashi, watashi no chīmu ga shōri o eru tame ni karera wa hijō ni muzukashī o tameshite mimashita. Watashi wa watashi ga anata no chīmu no tsumi wa, soreha fīrudo no ensō ni tsuitedesu, uinzu ga mondaide wa arimasen'node, soreha nō no kettei woenai shite mo daijōbude wa nai to omou, 10-iningu o nageta. Watashi wa idaideshita."

"Although I suffered a no-decision, it is all okay in the end. I pitched very well and my team tried their very hardest to get the win. I pitched ten innings, I think it is okay to get a no-decision because wins do not matter, it is about YOUR performance on the field, not your teams offense. I did great."

Homer Bailey (6 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 4 SO)
Elijah Dukes (1-6, HR, 3 RBI)

Great Cruz (10 IP, 10 H, 2 ER, 4 SO)
Jason Bay (2-6, HR, 2B, 1 RBI)

1st: Seattle Mariners (55-32)
2nd: Anaheim Angels (45-42)
3rd: Oakland Athletics (41-46)
4th: Texas Rangers (35-52)

Yep, I forgot how I usually formatted the updates so it might need some work. I was so scared that the disk wouldn't work because of all the scratches it had on it's bottom side.
