I just got done reading through this whole log(it took me a couple days though), nice franchise you have going. Too bad you couldn't get the WS ring last year, but I'm looking forward to updates if there are going to be more.

I agree with duke, this is a very good read and easy to follow and neat but school time is always tough for updates so take your time on updates

Hey everyone! I know I haven't done anything on this in a while, but I will try tonight. I have to study for a French test and Biology test (why do both have to be tomorrow?!), but if I have time tonight, I'll get a game or two in.

4/9 - Orioles (2-5) @ Rays (6-1): Game 4
Jeremy Guthrie: (0 - 0), 4.50 ERA vs. Scott Kazmir: (1 - 0), 2.25 ERA

ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays winning streak came to and end today, taking a tough loss to the Orioles as Jeremy Guthrie three-hit shutout the Rays. The Orioles scored a pair of runs in the third to get their offense started. Aubrey Huff came through with an RBI single, Ramon Hernandez tapped a sacrifice groundout scoring Freddie Bynum from third. The Orioles scored their last two runs in the fifth on a Luke Scott two-run homer, his first of the season.

Final Score:
Orioles: 4
Rays: 0

Jeremy Guthrie (W, 1-0): 9 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K

Brian Roberts: 2-5, R
Freddie Bynum: 1-5, R
Aubrey Huff: 2-4, RBI, R
Luke Scott: 1-4, HR (1), 2 RBI, R, K
Ramon Hernandez: 0-4, RBI, K

Scott Kazmir (L, 1-1): 6 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K
Al Reyes: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
Dan Wheeler: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K
Troy Percival: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K

B.J. Upton: 1-4
Dioner Navarro: 1-3, K
Rocco Baldelli: 1-3

Having not played MLB Power Pros in almost two months, I'd say I pitched very well. I know, I gave up four runs, but the Orioles lineup is actually very hard with players like Roberts and Huff. I felt like I did a very good job with choosing pitches and locating them, especially with Dan Wheeler striking out the side in the eighth. My offense... came up short. I'm going to have to work on that quite a bit.

The Rays managed to make the ninth inning interesting, getting runners on second and third with two outs.
